guys, why my wifi not so responsive? what I mean is when speedtest I still got 20++mbps, but when browsing fb, IG, twitter, youtube or any others so slow..slower than when I'm using streamyx wifi before this...wrong setting or what? I'm using rg4400...     

im having same router as u rgx4400 and got same problem also. before this using dlink wbr2300 no issue.

on laptop, dont hv this issue. but on my phone , one i unlockmy phone then click a url. take around 5seconds for the page to load. test with few website also same.

btw izit ur rgx4400 , the led for internet always blinking non-stop? even dont hv any data transmission?

fruitie I remember some time ago you shared here that you no longer get 30Mbps or more, but only around 28Mbps. Is it still the same for you now?

Last night it seems TM did some maintenance and since then I have been getting IPv6 addresses from a different block 2001:e68:5444::/48 instead of 2001:e68:5416::/48, and even the IPv4 addresses come from blocks that I never get before.

And now, no matter how many times I reconnect, all my speed test also around 28Mbps, just like what you had last time.

The internet indicator must bling if not, it means there has no to data transmits.

I was so pissed off about it ..like you called the CS got the same answer, I banged the BTU a couple of times till it switched of itself and the fibre adapter became loose ..   serious...Kisah Benar!! then unplug the fibre cable from the wall socket ..leave it like that for few days since i kena outstation..then came back, thought of complaining to TM to replace the BTU, so I test first  and  it can switched on then out of the blues tested speed its back to normal    i'll be darned   

I just replied to ad2000 about this... No, it has been months and I have not seen it more than 29Mbps...

Yes, I guess your story will be the same as mine, no more 30Mbps but TM refused to admit it's their problem. I went back to hometown and came back, straight dropped to 28Mbps. Probably it had maintenance too when I was not in town...

Hi guys, appreciate some advice if possible. Here's the situation;

1) Upgraded to 30MB unifi but rarely get 20mb. Mostly 10-15mb only on wifi.
2) Staying in small apartment (850sqf). Router is located in living room while my room is just behind the living room wall - I dont close my door at all.
3) My router sometimes restart by itself and sometimes internet connection is very slow (talking bout dload speed of 100kpbs) - I have to restart my modem/router to solve this on daily basis.
4) Called unifi technical team and they attend twice but problem recurring again after few days. One of the technician advise me to get a better router as the set that I'm using is more than 3 years old already.

My question is, what should I get to a good 30mb connection in my room? I'm using a pc with a tp-link wifi adapter connected to it in my room.

Been reading a few post and few member mentioned about Asus RT-n66u as a router replacement. Is this a good solution? My budget is around Rm700-Rm1000 to fix this issue if possible.

Considering the short distance from the router to your room, just buy lan cable and problem solved.

I used to get 32Mbps too... Even my friend in Cheras area is still getting 32-33Mbps.

I also getting 28Mbps. Wifi only around 18Mbps max.

it should blink when there is data transmission.
if dont hv, it should only lid.
my previous router work this way.

Aren't there a small gap between floor and the door frame? 

Why dont you just change your wifi router? What type of house are you living in? If condo or apartmemt, then just buy TL-WR841N for only at RM65+, if your house is big, then just choose TL-WR841HP, RM150+. You dont have to buy any AC router as you only have the speed of 30Mbps. AC router is designed for giving speeds which is more than 300mbps.

aa.. true also.. but i hv 4 small soldier at home.. prefer to use wifi as afraid the kid will tarik all these wire.
