At E3 we announced that we’d launch the Closed Beta of GWENT: The Witcher Card Game in September. Unfortunately, we feel we need some extra time with the game before we hand it off to you for testing. We know we can make a first impression only once, and want to be sure everything is ready before we blast off. Delivering a good game is more important to us than keeping a deadline. Still, that doesn’t mean we don’t realize that delays can be disappointing, and we apologize for making you wait. Closed Beta will now begin on October 25th.

finally logged into the game, seemingly lost all ranks, cards decks but was compensated with 5 kegs, a title and 'witcher 1' gerald avatar...

the game had changed much compared to closed beta (like positioning, spell effects), but fundamentals are basically the same

managed to cheat a 2 - 1 win, playing biting frost during my last turn then getting an extra -5 for me to end the turn, winning by 1 point...

its easy for me except the monster last boss u need to use fake ciri for easy win

HS legend player here, was a bit of a challenge vs ai especially dagon leader. Knew this game is for me moving forward instead of hs so start invest.

I preorder the $50 bundle for hs every expansion. But stopping nw since switch to Gwent. Might as well spend more nw to grind less to get good deck and hope this game last me quite a while so that initial investment will be well spent.

i think they nerf its ability to affect both sides, earlier only oppo side.

i think a buff also, because can play self damaging unit combo.

so dunno...not sure it is a buff or nerf lul

But it clearly states "Enemy" so I don't see how it'll affect both sides.

I guess we'll have to wait for the hotfix to roll out to better understand the intend.

how does VRAN WARRIOR works? that fella consumes a harpy egg which has the power of 1 yet the warrior gains 6?

I think is use for comboing with arachas to spawm minion or nekker

or ekimara resilence for next turn or elder for gold card + point (cannot be igni or destroyed)

edit: consume eat monster add point to itself, normally combo with other cards. (consume effect, do this do that)

When Consumed by another Unit, Boost that Unit by an additional 5.

Deathwish: Spawn a Harpy on a random row.
