Announced at the 2016 Bethesda Showcase, watch the reveal trailer for Prey!
Arkane Studios, the team behind the critically acclaimed Dishonored series, is bringing their unique vision to Prey, a first-person sci-fi action game that reimagines the franchise from the ground up… with an added psychological twist.
You are Morgan Yu, the subject of morally dubious experiments designed to improve the human race. You awaken aboard the Talos 1 in the year 2032 and must uncover the secrets hiding in the depths of the space station while being hunted by the mysterious alien force that has taken over. You’ll have to rely on the tools you find on the station – along with your wits, weapons and mind-bending abilities – to combat the growing threat and, hopefully, survive. Get your first look at Prey in the cinematic reveal trailer.
Prey will be available on PS4, Xbox One and PC in 2017.

Initially Prey 2 was supposed to be somewhat open world plus bounty hunting. That was subsequently cancelled and revived with similar to System Shock 2 kinda of environment.
Bought it after one of the reviewers i like said it was good
and DAMN THE GAME IS DOPE, 2nd level in, but all the good memories are back, HL2, System Shock 2, BioShock
Hell scariest well lit game ever!
hahaha you bought it too. So far I'm taking my time with the game, but I appreciate they sticking with some older game ideas, like it doesn't point you to your objectives but rather let you discover things yourself.

nier or prey?
not playing nier but from what i can see they are very different. I never like JRPG style hack and slash though.

one of the reviewers i like gave it a thumbs up, so i went and got it asap lol
yea the old school vibe is strong with this one, one thing i hate is the objective indicator and the sound it plays when you did something

because both games (nier & prey) cost like rm200 so I can only choose one.

If 200 is your budget then go with Prey, Nier is 249 in case you miss it cause it was initially priced at 190 before they changed the price to 249 a few hours after.
Today we planned to perform a backend deployment for Prey in order to remove Denuvo, but some of you may have seen a 16GB or 4GB update instead. We've rolled back this deployment, so you should no longer have any large updates for Prey or Prey: Mooncrash. The update to remove Denuvo will still be deployed, but at a later date.
Your game should be unaffected, but please let us know if you're seeing any issues!
