I dunno, after these years, still trying to find some logical answers behind what had happened. Call me stubborn. Just several weeks ago, I went back to my old place, wanted to pay a visit to next door neighbour, an elderly aunty since it's been several years since I last seen her. But I held back, I was right downstairs but decided not to and made my way home.

You stayed at Le Chateau?
I went there to a friend’s place. Damn creepy at night.

My ex colleague was looking for rentals near Brickfields and said he got a cheap place to stay called “Ler Ci Tiau”, until i realised its Le Chateau.  I guessed it spooked him when he realised how close Le Chateau is to the place you mentioned.

I have some reservation on going back if not to visit my neighbour. The same thought went through my mind as well, what if "we" reconnect back again and this thing comes back to haunt me.

Because of work matters, I passed by this place several times a week. The old lady that lives next to us is really dear to me. I literally take her as my grandma, at times I will help her move cooking gas tank as it's too heavy for her due to her age. We stopped contacting after I moved, just wanna check on her, say hi.
