Looking for a laptop which can handle photoshop software, microsoft office and casual surf. Does having a SSD helps in handling photoshop better than normal HDD? Or a graphic card like GT940 is more important than storage? Kindly enlighten me.

1. Price: Less than RM 2999.
2. Size: 14"
3. Brand: Asus/Lenovo? Not sure other brands like Acer, Dell, HP and so on.

ssd does help you to open any application much faster than hdd
if you want an ssd in your laptop, buy the ssd with 240gb separately and swap with hdd and make previous hdd as a external to store your works
Asus K401U Intel i5-6200U, 4GB DDR3 RAM, Nvidia GT 940M 2GB, 1TB SATA HDD, 14" FHD, 1.65KG RM2.6k
HP Pavilion 14-al019TX   Intel i5-6200U, 4GB DDR4 RAM, Nvidia GT 940MX 2GB, 1TB SATA HDD, 14" HD, 1.58KG RM2.6k
Dell Vostro 14 V5459 Intel i5-6200U, 4GB DDR3 RAM, Nvidia GT 930M 2GB, 500GB SATA HDD, 14" HD, 1.66KG RM2.7k

Thanks for the recommendation first of all.
But if i were to swap the ssd with the existing hdd, what will happen to the pre-installed softwares like the windows 10, and some other softwares?
Ourself have to manually install it?

yes you had to reinstall it back manually by downloading windows from official website then use ShowKey app to show the windows product keys
and also install the laptop driver from official manufacturer website

Ok thanks for the feedback!
However, yday had purchase a Asus Pro BU401LA. Spec wise, completely out perform the K401 with i7 processor, 8gb ddr3 ram, and a 240gb SSD. Somehow the only drawbacks are integrated graphic chipset and a older 4th generation processor.
All in all, its a good buy i think.
