Back cover logo fade out is not a QC issue, it's part of the wear and tear.

We are happy to assist our own customers to repaint it and make sure it's durable, for free.
*
Oh, now I only know those area that fade ,which non usually touching while using the laptop can consider wear and tears

Is it wise to get a refurbished Dell latitude e6330 business class laptop come with 6 mths warranty.
Spec is i5 3320m 4g ram 320g HDD. Will upgrade to ssd.

For the same budget only can get low spec new laptop. Eg idea pad 100 i3, n3700 or n3540 CPU, 2g ram 500 GB HDD.

Not going to play game on it, jz some web browsing and light coding
Any comment?

QUOTE(countercounter @ Oct 8 2016, 02:30 AM)
Greetings all,

1. Preferred Brand - Good after sale service, Dell/Lenovo/HP or ?
2. Budget - below RM2500
3. Usage - Work. Presentations (powerpoints). Large Excel files.
4. Preferred
a) 14 inches,  don't mind 15"
b) good keyboard
c) If possible, to have optical drive.

I understand that for "good after sales service", the first to come in mind is usually Dell or Lenovo (next business day onsite service). I've been looking at Dell Inspiron 3558 i5-5200U, and I really like it. However, it is a  15" laptop.

Most of the 14" Dell do not come with optical drive, so I would like to seek guidance from lowyat forum (before considering an external optical drive).
With the exception of Dell Inspiron 3558, any other recommendation from kind souls here?

Thanks in advance

P.S: Currently not looking for Vostro or Latitude series... for RM2k+, would rather pay the same price for dedicated graphic card (Inspiron) than the more expensive series.

Hello ALL,

I looking for notebook with specs below. Hope you guys can give some suggestion:

Price: Below 2.8k after add ram
Below 3k for adding ssd (mSATA or SATA) (128gb for OS will do if can have mSATA and HDD together)

Processor: i5 and above.

RAM: At least 8gb or add after purchase is ok.

HDD: with mSATA or M.2 slot will be excellent (Optional)

Screen: FHD (14" or 15.6") (Matte Screen(Optional)) (Dont want touch Screen)

OS: win 10 Home

Build Quality: I care a lot on the hinge. Dont want like the latest HP Pavilion 14-al102TX, Good price with good specs, but shit hinge.

Any brand will do, prefer Asus.

No ODD will be better because can have bigger battery.

Good Batery life.

GPU: At least GT 940M 2GB

Port: At least 2 USB 3.0

Thin notebook is preferred.

Advanced thanks to all the reply.

Additional Question:
Does seller accept trade in for the HDD that come from the factory in exchange for SSD?
