Getting Started

1. Budget - RM3.5k-RM4k 2. Use - web surfing, watch movies, listen to songs, work on spreadsheets 3. Lightweight (preferably) 4. Decent battery life Currently using a Macbook Pro (but it's been 5 years and is dying) Contemplating to get Macbook Air 13.3" (128gb/256gb) but 256gb is too expensive and I'm afraid the 128gb is not sufficient Any other recommendations? Thanks in advance!

1. Budget - RM3k-RM4k 2. Use - work on spreadsheets, dota2 3. Lightweight - less than 15 inch 4. SSD 5. Dedicated graphics card is preferred 6. 8GB ram is preferred
I am currently looking at ASUS ZenBook UX305CA, Dell XPS 13, and Xiaomi Mi Book.
Xiaomi Mi Book is very tempting but seems like no one here has it yet. Already saw someone selling in lowyat forum.
Update: lol seems like Dell XPS 13 price is super off budget, nvm..

Hello all I am looking for a laptop to go on with my university life Price range:rm4k to rm5k(max) Mainly for my work, as a engineering student, not into gaming Possibly light and thin but not so thin that you have to sacrifice alot of things Screen aroung 13 to 15.6 inch is nice, fhd is sufficient If possible, the screen can rotate 360 and touchscreen I have looked into some of the notebooks, and one of the notebooks that really caught my attention is Samsung notebook 7 spin, 12gb ram. http://www.samsung.com/us/computer/pcs/NP740U5L-Y02USBut the things is this product probably may not coming to malaysia as samsung malaysia had ditched the notebook product. So, is there any laptop or notebooks that i can buy here in malaysia comparable to samsunh noteebook 7? Side question: as engineering student, is dedicated graphics card really useful? I heard that it is useful for rendering and stuff which i dont really know. Thanks!
