I think the only answer is from TMNet. They announced that bandwidth will be restored by 20th.

SERVICE INTERUPTION
TM Net Sdn Bhd (TM Net) would like to announce that its Internet services, which are experiencing some degradation in performance due to the international link outage caused by the earthquake off Taiwan on December 26th, 2006, will be fully restored by January 20th, 2006.
Restoration work is well mitigated with more than 50% of its services restored to-date. We are pleased to inform customers that TM Net is on track to recover approximately 80 per cent bandwidth capacity for Internet traffic to U.S. by January 12, 2007.
Restoration and / or rerouting of data services is being achieved either by purchasing additional bandwidth from international providers, or capacity swapping with other corresponding carriers.
We wish to assure you that TM Net is doing all that is possible to fully restore our services as soon as possible.
Customers can call our Customer Interaction Centre at 1-300-88-9515 (24 hours) or 1-300-88-1515 from 8.00 a.m. till midnight, or e-mail custcare@tm.net.my for further enquiries.
Question.. read somewhere on the net that it would take till end of January (fastest) for the connection in Taiwan to be fully restored.. fastest.. and yet TMNet claim the restoration is to be completed by Jan. 20th ??
