One of our own members is attempting a project related to this. 'Wei' who is an Apple user, is working on a D.I.Y LCD Touch Screen, which according to HERE has saved tonnes of money from getting a ready-made tablet.

i think i ever see b4, got one forumer selling a devise that attach on ur lcd just like a wabcam attachment. Then i think ur lcd become a sensor lcd touch screen kot.
