Try type code *#0228# ?
*
okok will try it out.
another thing is, i was reading xda and was interested in flashing a custom rom
but when they say make sure flash latest bootloaders first, does it mean if my current FW is MM 6.0.1 then i already have the latest BL? and i can just flash TWRP and on to the custom rom?

U mean can flash without caring bout the BL?
Is it true that can't flash to older LL versions?like the u1 versions? Hmm wanted to test out older versions but reading thru the thread seems can't.
And twrp, does it need to be rooted first or just flash using Odin will do?sorry so many qs,thanks dude

yes
no idea flash to older LL, if you want better wipe it 1st
for twrp, either you want to root 1st or flash twrp 1st also can, up to you
but I prefer root 1st then only flash twrp smile.gif
*
Wokey,will try it out.thanks a lot

Really happy with my note 4 so far even in stock rom and root it to make some tweaks. Save my money on extended warranty so I plan to buy my 3rd spare battery. How much the price on Samsung official store?
*
I asked mutiara damansara Samsung center last month it was rm159 for the battery. Better to buy the original one from Samsung, guaranteed quality at least.

Yeah. Im agree cause I'm not really confident with rm70+ battery quality and usually on that price, the 'original battery' does not come with NFC.

Talking about NFC, anyone here using Samsung pay/ Maybank pay anywhere? 7eleven? I love to test it. With a proud and arrogant face at the counter lol
*
i ve seen my friend using NFC on his note5 to pay for MCDs, so it works well.

Wanna ask I just took over a note4.
And I noticed the 4g reception compared to a redmi2e is weaker
Wonder is it normal or firmware/hw issue.
I updated the fw to latest available from sammobile
Appreciate any suggestons.

Never have problem with my note 4 signal. I had redmi 2  before, i think both receiption almost the same. Try to lock ur 4G signal if ur area 4g not really strong.
From the phone dialer, dial *#2263# and the smartphone will bring you into the “Service Mode” select lte band part 1 and then select lte all. The downside u cant receive/make any phone call when u lock ur phone in 4G mode only.
*
Hmm weird cos my note4 constantly gets only 2 bars of 4g max.sometimes will change to 3g too.
Searched around xda forum and it seems like its known issue.
