My N4 was recently rooted with MM6.0.1. How do I install subsequent minor updates?

Should I unroot my phone by using odin to flash back MM6.0.1 and update these minor updates via OTA or do I flash these minor updates with odin while remaining rooted? Do I flash every updates or just the last latest update? Presently I am rooted with stock rom.

I was looking at the sun global battery as replacement for my N4 original battery. Is this battery OK and where to get a good price for the battery?

I was looking at the Sun Global battery as a replacement for my original N4 battery.

If this is an original samsung battery (with NFC) at RM77, it looks like a better buy than Sun Global at RM80. My questions are:

1. With the NFC feature inbuilt into the samsung battery, does it make the original samsung battery drain faster (constantly searching for NFC) than the Sun Global which do not have the NFC feature? BTW, I rarely use NFC.

2. Sun Global claims that it has a higher battery capacity than the original samsung battery but does not say by how much. Is this true?

3. Fast charging is possible on all brands of battery inside (not necessarily only on original N4 battery). Right?

Dont trust sun global higher values. Its fake. The capacity are just the same.

For me, i will go for original battery. Sun global got no nfc as well. The price rm70 range are for original samsung, but the warranty are not by samsung but from the supplier such as dna etc..

Thanks for the advice.

I am wondering whether the NFC inbuilt feature in the original battery will drain off the battery in the original faster than the Sun Global even though their capacity are the same.

Just as a feedback for N4 users, recently I replaced my ori N4 battery with another OEM Samsung N4 battery (cost RM75) and MPJ Brand Battery (cost RM65), both of which were purchased at the same time. Both have NFC on the battery. I have been testing them for 2 weeks now.

It seems that the MPJ battery from US lasts longer than the OEM Samsung battery. I bought the OEM Samsung battery from Lazada and the MPJ battery from 11th Street. However, the MPJ battery took a long time (3 weeks) to arrive from US.

As I mentioned earlier, recently I replaced my ori N4 battery with an AP Samsung N4 battery (cost RM75) and MPJ Brand Battery imported from US (cost RM65). Both batteries have NFC on the battery and rated 3220 mAh. I have been testing them for 3 weeks now.

It seems that the MPJ battery from US lasts longer than the AP Samsung battery. I bought the AP Samsung battery from Lazada and the MPJ battery from 11th Street.

Both batteries are better than my 2 year old ori N4 battery which is losing its retention of battery power. However, lately I checked the MPJ battery which I purchased at RM65 is no longer sold at that cheap price.

I hope this helps.

How to clear cache? Clearing cache, does that wipe off my app's data? To clear cache, do it before or after installing DPL8?
