hey guys i have a rooted note 4 sitting collecting dust, before used not more than 1 year plus then suddenly died. Charge but no light on,after being charged for for few mins, it will warm up real fast. I had spare battery, swap also no luck. Suspect is motherboard need replace, one guy at fastech quote me around rm400 if really need to replace the board. SHould i go for it? really think i should do something about it rather than keeping it like that.

You should get a quote price from Samsung services centre first. Then compare..

Replacing phone motherboard is the most pricey especially for a korean phone since they're importing parts from Korea. Servicing it through samsung will at least cost near 1k for sure
