QUOTE(abu.shofwan @ Aug 30 2016, 05:24 PM) admittedly, i already gave my note 4 to my wife since her phone was struggling (Xperia ZR) with the camera calar sana sini giving blur blur pic all the time... but as far as I can recall, we (my wife's experience included) did not face any major issues AT ALL. battery was replaced a couple of months ago, but that is to be expected la with us using whatever charger we can get our hands on. Many note 7 user currently facing random reboot, s-pen can't properly attach and some dead pixel on screen. Not to mention about latest gorilla glass 5 that shattered proof but can not scratch proof like glass 4. This problem happen on Singapore, Taiwan & Malaysia set. You can feel their rage when reading the comment on Samsung Facebook pagebtw, what common defect did you detect from the Note 7 thread? I am considering this, in case i muster up courage to buy and enough money (i'm only planning to buy in a couple of months time, or sometime in Jan 2017 - since now not enough money) |

I think I'm ok with official marshmallow for now. (Because it my first time using 6.0 and touchWiz) as long as custom ROM available I guess I can deal with it.
But as for the quick charge, plenty of sensors (that u can't see on most newer device), powerful lens, add on accessories (such as battery kit) I think this beast still relevant for use & show off at least until next year. |

Hi, I'm planning to extend my warranty but my device already root. So should I unroot and using fully stock ROM before bring my note 4 to check warranty? Can I extend the warranty even I'm unroot my device?

QUOTE(surefire v LED @ Oct 18 2016, 09:55 PM) So I just need to unroot right? How about twrp? Do I need to change it to stock recovery? Sorry for the noob question because it my first Samsung device. Not familiar about Knox but it shown 0x1 which means my device already root. Then after the unroot process, I can peacefully walk in Samsung centre and extend my warranty right? |

QUOTE(chuahcs79 @ Oct 18 2016, 11:22 PM) personally i throw away the warranty and root it since day one, never regret it at all since,.. it is a whole new workd after root I do the same with my redmi 2 phone right after i got it but in this case, xiaomi phone still claimable under warranty even you root it.Really happy with my note 4 so far even in stock rom and root it to make some tweaks. Save my money on extended warranty so I plan to buy my 3rd spare battery. How much the price on Samsung official store? |

QUOTE(XeactorZ @ Oct 18 2016, 11:33 PM) RM 100+ You should buy at official store. Although a bit pricy but confirm original. Or just buy battery kit that can give you external charger with extra batterythinking to buy from lelong, around RM 70+ those seller claim that is OEM (original) as my battery won't fully charge until I take out and put in battery every time I charge it |

QUOTE(wayne @ Oct 19 2016, 07:47 AM) I asked mutiara damansara Samsung center last month it was rm159 for the battery. Better to buy the original one from Samsung, guaranteed quality at least. Yeah. Im agree cause I'm not really confident with rm70+ battery quality and usually on that price, the 'original battery' does not come with NFC.Talking about NFC, anyone here using Samsung pay/ Maybank pay anywhere? 7eleven? I love to test it. With a proud and arrogant face at the counter lol |
