Just bought a new replacement battery. Hoping it will last much longer lah. No more dieded while gaming or watching stuff.

After the latest update battery performance went down drop compare to version before. I did factory reset it too each time after update

Will reflash to previous version instead when got time. Disappointed due to my battery is brand new. Having 5-6 hour sot on 27-35hours usages on last version ROM before update. Now barely last 13-15 hours usages with 3-4 hours sot. Did reset after update and I don't play game on phones..

Very snappy, the old fimware couldn't even handle heavy modern games without lag.

One reason I reverted back from custom ROM are some games do not allow custom ROM, unlocked BL, rooted device.

The new firmware makes my old phone new again, good job samseng.

after having the phone since launch,
finally today i rooted the phone.
first tried to use magisk, which mean need to install twrp.
after multiple attempt and failed to install twrp, i finally used CF Auto root.
now can play modded game.

The report also said it was related to refurbished sets sold in US with imitation Samsung batteries.

Tried, don't see any improvement or changes.

C'mon Samsung, if you bring Nougat to my N4 now, you might stall my plan from getting MiA1, and might probably go Galaxy C8 or J7+.

I guess I'm no longer in their target market since:

1. I prefer fast updates straight from Google and not limited by OEM
2. Price for flagship getting out of hand, there are better options out there.

The only reason I still stick from S2 till Note 4 is the nice AMOLED screen and nice design (I always like the home button), but the Note 8 and S8 back design looks like crap.

another software update, seems quite a lot lately.  Not sure about you guys but this latest one seems smooth after updating

After reading and watching a whole bunch of reviews and videos about all the new phones this year, I have decided to keep my note 4. It's still working as i wanted(whatsapp, fb, insta, twitter, some light games incl hearthstone) and the camera is still kicking ass(except low light haha..).

Initially i was waiting to see the iphone since i got addicted to ipad pro's pro motion(the 120hz fluidity is orgasmic. if u havent see it for yourself u better should) but then too bad apple did not include it in this year's iphone..

Guess i will wait for next year. I'll take any flagship that includes 120hz refresh rate screens.

confirmed it is port issue not cable?
might need to check how you use it then.
mine so far the only thing i replaced is battery.
other than that all still okey
only issue i'm facing is the earpiece slow.
