true that. even on my 12 inch XPS, 4k is barely noticeable.
however, things might change as VR develops further and becomes more mature. i'm starting to be intrigued by the VR craze.

as for VR, VR device is not cheap, especially htc vive and oculus rift

Xiaomi VR incoming... Price should be cheap enough that you wouldn't mind investing in a couple (or more) units.
Anyway, Samsung gear VR is said to be $99
If you can afford a new Note, most likely you can splurge on the gear VR, too

how i wish i bought the snapdragon version of note 4 in the first places,.. not able to downgrade to 4.4.4 or 5.0.1 is painful,..
