i must say this, after years of usage i still do not find a reason to root this phone. The stock firmware is stable and fast. (played custom firmwares on my S2 few years ago, it was fun but not stable enough as a daily phone imo). This phone is a good phone.

in order to flash twrp, you must use odin to flash and untick auto reboot
once finished flash, take out battery and put it back after 10 sec, and on it using power + home + volume up
then flash magisk

I just changed my note 4 battery a month ago. It perform almost like a brand new phone. Better than any mid range phone i ever use. Currently using it for thetering n download movie. Glad tht i didnt sell it. Very good as 2nd device/backup phone.

can anyone guide me on rooting note 4? just bought a second hand note 4 to play around

still note 4 damn good

but just missing out samsung pay and suck battery life thats all

if note 4 got samsung pay im sure wont upgrade

battery life still terrible tho, my note 4 (original sunglobal battery 3220 mah) only can lasts around 4-5 hrs of usage

Battery wise, FE is a lot more lasting than the Note 4 but unfortunately not removable.

I don't like phone with side curve. that's why it's harder for me to find replacement.

My note 4 GPS signals is always very unstable to the extend it always searches for  GPS signals lately.
I have check it out with other phones side by side while driving mine is always lost signals most of the journey !!!
My data is is receiving 4G signals, calling , web browsing is normal ??
What is wrong can anyone help ??

i bought original battery for rm65 & 70+, got NFC, but warranty not by samsung.  working fine.

bought a new battery from lazada.. satisfied with it. can stop looking for a new phone now
