Couldn't know coz I'm not using XME firmware wink.gif yet I usually do a Factory Reset each time update, latest on early Oct ago..

I feel you bear... I was also gunning for Note 7 (upgrade from current Note 4) - but due in January... who would've thought that n7 would go up in flames (literally and metaphorically speaking).
now i'm lost, don't know which phone to go for. was (still am, i guess) thinking to buy a mid ranger - like Asus ZF3 - and keep the balance for when note 8 finally comes...

hi... my note 4 is unrooted with original firmware.. last night ota update and phone keep rebooting .. cant do anything.. even tried factory reset n wipe cache.. still cant boot .. any solution ??? tqvm


can boot up with charging ... once 100% i unplug n it goes to auto reboot again.. when i plug in the charging cable.. the battery becomes 75% in less den 1 min... i think after update .. the battery become gone case

Just now I'm downloading stock Rom 5.1.1 from Sammobile but it's really slow. Any way to download it faster using hp not pc

I think I just did the same OTA update, no problems though. It took about 5-10 minutes and boot up okay for me, although the phone did feel very hot.

Haha mine would be take iphone 7 plus and then sell it next year 2 get note 8 with memory card laugh.gif icon_idea.gif

Hi. I solved my problem by downgrade to lollipop 5.1.1.
No more heating problem and can charge to 100%.

But this morning I can't get to green led. It just stay brown led but it show 100% for so long. So I changed to normal charger. After that it show green led.

So it's better for us to use lollipop..

That's big funny part. The marshmallow 6.0 is so much better than the old junk 5.1.1 which is famous with high battery sucking.

The ori charger use fast charger 2.0.
Thats why it not getting 100% even charge many hours

Yup, is true....Android MM battery life is much better than Android L. I m using 2pcs Note4 here....both also good on Android MM.
