I've gotten my Ultra-Act Ultraman yesterday, and while mine is not as broken as brother Henshin one is, i still feel that the figure is kinda "cheap" feeling.. i was expecting something like the S.H.Figuarts build and solidity, since the Ultra-act almost look like one..

Poseablility and accessories are good, just that the material used to make the figure is kinda like the one used for the Megahause Actionworks Ultraman.. a bit disappointed at Bandai..

will continue collecting the Ultra-Act though; hope Bandai will release all the Ultrabeings, especially the rare Nexus and Next

i have both MegaHouse Zoffy and Mebius.. the Ultra-Act plastic and built feels like the MegaHouse Actionworks one; except that in my UltraAct at least, the joints are tighter.. also, because the material is the same, but the size is bigger, the Ultra-Act one feels "cheaper" by comparison.

even Revoltech figures have better plastic quality (and i'm growing to hate Revoltech, haha).. but paint-job wise, i think Ultra-Act is still better than any Revoltech figures out there

Judging by Henshin's Ultraman, and comparing to mine, i think the build quality seems to differ; mine is not loose at all, very tight. The only problem i have with it is the "cheapo" plastic used..

wirth this first issue Ultra-Act line, it seems there are varying quality; advise anyone to check their item before buying.. i was lucky to get a "good" one from AmiAmi 

okay, finally got some time to write about this Ultra Act. Like Evanrue, mine also got sipped from AmiAmi, and got tight joints, at first, yeah. The joints seems getting loosening bit by bit while I'm at it, posing his signature poses around. Unlike SHFs, their joints still intact and tight even after a year. I wonder, what's in their mind (the people at Tsuburaya and Bandai) to come with that kind of design, the used of material, and joints solutions.

I admit, the design wise is still nice and eye catchy, but seeing those red type of plastic and joints, makes me puke myself. especially when it comes to the arm, torso, pelvis and ankle (well, it almost everything). I just like; "haiyaaaaa, like this only aaaa?"

The open mouth feature is a great plus, would be better if he had sharp teeth though. Guess they did'nt want to make him too beastly.

Did a preorder thinking Bandai would pass on their experience from the SHF line. All the bad news of loose joints and lousy material makes me worry about the quality . And it's about the same price as a regular SHF.

On another note, there seems to be a 'Caesar Belial' from the upcoming Ultraman Zero series. Can't seem to find any pics of it tho, though its probably Belial gets an upgrade.

Those look classic    never seen this sets before though..

I didn't bother to replace the head with the un-crested one even when he's holding that weapon of his; he looks cool with those twin sluggers on his head

With Belial and Ultraman:



Overall, quality-wise it has not improve much from the first two Ultra-Act figures; Belial is still the most solid feeling of the three, but not by much. All three figures have week ankle joints, action-posing can be slightly problematic, but i still wish Bandai up the quality to be on par with their SHFiguArts line..

You can pre-order at AmiAmi EMS postal plus item price equals to what you'd pay for at local shop.. but Customs may check them, so far Customs have released my items without problems
