Can't believe this is finally happening. I'm guessing that new Bandai-Namco branch opening in Malaysia will be among those working on the english translation.

This is a super old thread.
But I just finished SRW V last night since it was on discount and I just wanted to try SRW at least once.

It’s pretty interesting.
I don’t know half of the series, but how they weave the stories feels like a fan fiction.
Also, the battle system is alright. Not too deep/complicated but fun to watch.

I might get SRW X but only when there is a steep discount

I play all the recent SRW and completed all of them the latest one on Nintendo switch becoz I only buy the portable version.

To be honest this series is going down the hill. The difficulty is getting lower and lower.

I think the older games on PS2 are way better than all the latest one.

I’ve not played previous older versions (due to localizations), so I cant compare the difficulty. But yeah, the game is pretty easy.

SRW on the switch is quite expensive.
For portability, I might get this on the vita. But I think one SRW is enough for me until they release a mainline game with Gundam iron blooded orphans and aldonoah zero in it.

It has become a yearly release this is also why it does not have any break through anymore, a bunch of recycle animation from the srw z2 z3 series. And the difficulty is so low now... Especially after z2 it became so easy until I loose interest init.

Back in the super Nintendo days... The game was so tough u basically have to use the shortcut restart and quick load button non stop. This day... The mother ship can clear the map alone, especially the srw v space battleship yamato.... Nvr before have such op mother ship (unless u include srw w protagonist combination with the mother ship)

the older version is damn hard

even 90% hit rate might missed.
need keep restart the game just for hit and miss
