Leasehold or freehold the biggest difference would be when government claim ur land, freehold they will pay a higher premium base on valuation as compared to leasehold..but either way,you still need to surrender your land when they ask to  biggrin.gif
to transact leasehold to new buyer would require state consent that would take up to 2 weeks to 6 months..
and leasehold is renewable..
so its up to you to decide whether you want to pay the additional price for "Freehold"
now a days, leasehold or freehold not so much of concern, most important is location and price  brows.gif

It comes to the concern when you feel like you gonna refinance or sold your property later. If leasehold tenure less than 65 years, basically not much bank willing to finance the property to you already.

I was once so tempted to have an unit @ BJ because of the Pavilion BJ.
However just got to know pavilion is going to built another Pavilion @ Damansara Height, how many pavilion we need to have, and how many of them can be sustainable like the Pavilion Bukit bintang?
For me, it is just way too much mall in KL, Selangor. Slowly people will got distracted to different malls...Can foresee the crowd and the leasing of the mall gotta be very competitive.
Add on, the said cementery really makes me pull handbreak like no doubt....
