Look in automotive garage. There is one guy Dabestone I think price is about RM180 similar to to Canny Cool. However the quality of the tinting and workmanship is way better than Canny. The shop is very nice and they do Raytech as vase business. Canny cool all Korean cheap film.
I had two cars done one at Canny and another at Dabestone. Canny's worker treat the films very rough. Bare in mind the warranty only for bubbles. Scratches due to wrong application by their workers not covered.
Secondly Canny's shop very dirty and workers don't handle the tint carefully causing dirt to be trapped on the tint. I had dirt on the tint but was told a bit of dirt is normal. I did at DaBestOne zero dirt same price.
Thirdly yes Canny always willing to redo the tint for you coz it is cheap Korean film. BUT your time will be wasted to go back and redo. Make appointment but still wait in line like walk in. Another thing Canny likes to push you to redo during weekdays when less new customer installation. Total waste of precious time.
Canny might be good in the past but I feel since they famous standard have drop. Now just an overrated shop.
I would recommend Dabestone because at RM180 you still get Raytech tint with warranty. Canny Cool is cheap Korea film which you can buy yourself for RM550 100feet by 5 feet.

QUOTE(therain01 @ Jun 3 2016, 11:27 PM) I am too have bad experience at canny cool ss15. Sent my car to get full tinted in the morning. Car tinted was not done until I told them I'm going to collect my car. It was almost 7pm when I call them. By the time I get there they were doing final touch up. Front Windscreen tinted was not done because they claim my windscreen has Stone chip. They told me to replace the windscreen or let them repair then they will only complete the tinting. They don't even bother to call me and let me know when they are unable to proceed with the windscreen tinting. Canny coo end upl offer me minor deduction of rm40 because the windscreen tinted was not done. I have no Choice but to accept it. Their shop management very poor. May have been good in the past but totally overrated now. I had the same issue of a star crack on my windscreen, but the shop TheBestOne discussed with me first before continuing to apply the tint. Turns out it was no issue to apply the tint.

QUOTE(hilmims @ Jun 4 2016, 11:41 AM) raytech rm180? really boss? might asked Lord Gitsy as well I was also surprised. It was stated in the warranty card the tint model. I believe it is possible because there is high range and low range Raytech.

QUOTE(coolstore @ Jun 4 2016, 02:41 PM) what model is that? am thinking buying myself one roll johnson tint and ask tint on paying workmanship charge, but probably tint shop won't do it I can't recall because I did it for my cousin's car. Yeah the tint shop won't do it for you. Reason is different films got different technique of applying it. Try DIY for side windows it is pretty easy. Hard one is the front and back where shrinking is needed. No doubt buying the film only is way way way cheaper.

QUOTE(stix @ Jun 4 2016, 01:51 PM) What's the point of getting a cheap tint when all it does is add a layer of plastic on your windows. I used to think that tints are useless but not until you get a good one. The difference it makes is huge. It is all about the money money money haha
