 iphone 6s coating peel off, exposing metal

Anyone has this problem?

My iphone 6s coating peel off near the sim car slot and around the bottom edges.

I use cover since day one but later when i open cover, i notice this problem. hmm.gif

Paint shipping on the 6S and 6S plus is a widespread issue lol. Something to do with the coating and the "7000 series aluminum". The paint doesn't match with the body. Over time the paint kind of oxidize and harden and eventually chip off. Only happen to a few colors. Space grey and Aluminum is fine. I think Gold and Rose Gold are the ones with this issue.

i see. i tried google it out most of rose gold has this issue. apple also doesnt cover this under warranty because somehow it does not affect the performance. i missed the old glass design on the 4s

Thats a bummer ! Luckily i m still with my 6+ . Thats really bad quality. Anyway... I like ip4 design...looked cool.
