I was told by CS that JOMPay was not counted as Retail transaction, hence being charged monthly fee.
*
Is that so? I was told somewhere in the SC credit card thread that every transaction is a retail transaction other than those EPP, repaying or something like that.

In that case, victorywp need to exclude taobao from the first page.

I've paid Taobao with Vox before and I'm pretty sure i got cashback from that, eventhough it was long long time ago.

What is your method of paying? Did it go through Alipay or something?

Guys,
I'm using the UOB Platinum One Card. My Statement Date = 15/06/2016.

Just for example, I have a few petrol transactions as below:
21/05/2016 - RM80
22/05/2016 - RM80
28/05/2016 - RM80
29/05/2016 - RM80
04/06/2016 - RM80
05/06/2016 - RM80
11/06/2016 - RM80
12/06/2016 - RM80
18/06/2016 - RM80
19/06/2016 - RM80
25/06/2016 - RM80
26/06/2016 - RM80

So my question is, the limit of RM500 cashback for petrol, is it started to count from my transaction on 16/05/2016 until 15/06/2016 or is it following the calendar month, 01/06/2016 until 30/06/2016?
*
if I'm not mistaken, statement date. So 16/05/2016 until 15/06/2016.

I get sms from UOB stating below:

"RM0.00 Convert your purchases on UOB ONE Card to 0% Easi-Payment Plan for 3 months! Min RM500 in a single receipt. Call 0326128121. Till 31July16. T&C apply."

I have a 3k statement balance for this month. Can I convert it to 0% installment?

Cannot find this in UOB website. Is it by invitation?  hmm.gif

I'm not very sure. Could be by batch or anything.

Anyway yesterday I had called CS and according to her, we can convert our retail purchase into 3 months 0% easi-payments, not the whole statement. Subject to management approval.

What I care the most is if YOLO gives CB for payment over uobpayonline. KIV.

Is UOB Vox the only card now that gives 5% CB for payment via uobpayonline? How about CIMB cash rebate and PBB VS?

PBBVS yes n also HLB-wise with Utility Category.

QUOTE(fruitie @ Aug 12 2016, 10:23 AM)
Yes for PBB VS but not for CIMB CR.
*
Thanks for all the replies. That makes UOB Vox really useful for those not that qualified for PBB VS and need to pay utility bills. Hopefully YOLO retain this benefit.

Online speding RM800 and above capped at 50, so that means if my spending is 800, effective CB is 6.25%?

rm800 get you rm48
to get max rm50 is rm833.33
anything further will reduce your 6%

QUOTE(sms2u @ Aug 15 2016, 11:09 AM)
if u spend Rm800 eligeble online tx for 6%, it will be cash back RM48. u need to spend around RM834 to maximize cash back RM50. cos i no sure it will be round up or round down when calculate cash back
*
Oh okay. That makes sense.

RM 30 per transaction gets you no cash back from VOX. So far UOB hasn't made any official statement regarding the cessation of VOX's benefits.

Overpay RM180 so no need to pay in the next 6 months?

QUOTE(SourLemons @ Sep 7 2016, 09:30 AM)

no embossed printing is good also, thinner cards in wallet. And the embossed printing easily scratched off over time.
