Looks like cash rebate is in for uob vox but i didn't get it. Means my transaction is not eligible... Need to find out why.

I have ONE transaction eligible. Some entrance tickets i bought online for my trip to europe. it's above RM50, so rightfully should be eligible.

There's no minimum amount for cash back payment right? the RM5 is on the 0.3% and not the 5%.

0.3% is not entirely no benefits. compared to cards that gives points, 0.3% ain't that bad. cards that give rebates on aeon, is what, wise card and on departmental. Worse if supermarket, as it may be tagged under grocery instead...

Anyway my point is, not everyone is like the regular people in this forum. keeping track of spending with different cards is indeed a chore.

while others have pointed out, you don't have to worry... just want to explain...

you giro on 5th night, which means it only gets transacted on 6th. based on giro schedule, should reach before 230pm. then, the posting will be shown on the 7th, one day after the transaction day. it takes 1 day AFTER the transaction day to show on your credit card.

PS: if you are really worried, usually i notice my cimb/citi credit limit will increase on the day it gets transacted although can't see the posting. not sure with uob since i've not tried it on uob so far.

Note: the funny thing is, my colleague who has vox card, received a different 2nd message, asked to apply UOB One

Actually since there's more benefit, why not just cut the card instead of worrying about paying the monthly fee of RM6?

I'm trying to be nice to the agent for signed up for me, i want to hold the card 3 months, so he can get his commission. but not at the risk of me paying the monthly fee as well.

okay. my worrying point is... september cash back not credited accordingly next month. system screw up or something. lazy to call and settle.

Yes, you can but it's still not vox replacement because bill payments are not entitled for 5%.

I think can call to waive the monthly fee. even previously seems easily waivable despite the cashback feature.

i need the help of the regulars here. and i seriously dont like uob payonline interface.

btw, WHICH one is the bill number for tenaga? the sample billing doesn't work on current bill? i went to tnb website, not helpful. is it the no. invois cukai? other payment gateways never asked me bill number for tenaga

i've been reading a lot of comments here... i haven't applied yet, seriously leaving my name on the website is a stupid idea...

my guess is, there's no such thing as a 'conversion' per se... cause strictly speaking, they didn't cancel your vox card. they just strip off all benefits. lol. and i don't think their system is so smart to cancel one card when one is activated.

after all, they do need our consent prior to cancelling, no???

I would call in to waive and not charge anything to the card. That's my plan.

it's entitled. but it seems that since august, my transactions at jaya grocer not entitled for it. the CS told me cause got cash rebate, no points.

when i used it at other places, seems like OK. but i rarely use at other places, just 3 times in the last 2 months.

anyway i'm gonna call, when was the last time you got a rebate?
