Amazon charged me Amazon Prime Membership without my knowledge as it was supposed to give me free 1 month trial and I didn't input in my credit card details so I thought it won't be charged after 1 month. However, who knows they charged straight to the card I used for my purchase. bangwall.gif

Anyway, long story short I requested for cancellation once I saw it on my unbilled transaction on 19th June which they have processed it rightaway.

Now due to our MYR strengthens (which to my dismay in this case) and I'm losing RM 21 due to currency exchange. Anything that I can go about it? Or just live with it? doh.gif Will I get cash back for this RM 21? laugh.gif

always like this de, same applied to NBA stream subscription, u will get 1 month free online streaming after u have entered ur credit card detail, but if you didt cancel in just before end of 1 month or earlier, u will automatically charged for the fee

regarding the refund issue, i also tiok once, i bought phone from taobao but the seller had no stock for near 1 month, so i requested for refund, and the refund amount became smaller because of RM kept depreciated

Credit Shield by Prudential UOB

I received a call so called from UOB HQ, promoting me the Credit Shield and said that no premium if I pay my credit card on time. Only is there is overdue, will charge me 0.65% of the outstanding balance. I checked on forum (source: https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...ost&p=57653635) mentioning that the 0.65% will be charged every month as long as your card got payment transaction.

How come the caller can be so misleading? Is this plan as good as he claimed? Which is true???  doh.gif

Kindly help and enlighten us. Thank you.

nope, he/she avoid some important message regarding the pay credit card on time. This only valid if you pay your payment before your statement is out, because the premium will charged on outstanding balance once your statement been generated. even if you repay the amount within 20 days grace period, you still have to pay.
