yalor, odd policy indeed. payment via jompay is a "swipe". autodebit is a "swipe". but there's explicit type of transactions to be considered. bangwall.gif

if i got charged again, i'll drill them to give me the proper info.

Sorry, can I just find out when did UOB One card have annual fee charges?

IIRC it was free when I applied?

did you request AF waiver before? threatened to cancel card? their retention team callled you back to "save" you by offering few years of AF waivers?

Should be coming to a year or so, I'm checking back my statements, don't think there is any AF charged to it yet but I remember it was free annual free when I applied back then, or was I totally mistaken?

But if there is AF, I want to be prepared to ask for a waiver or I'll just cancel it.

year 1 usually free with certain condition (e.g. 1 swipe within x-days, etc etc)

year 2 onwards, can request to waive AF. just remember to request waiver from CS immediately if you see the AF charged.

if CS wont budge, really cancel it (be to cancel before calling to threaten biggrin.gif). chances are their retention team will call back to "save" you biggrin.gif

hi bro, i accidentally paid the AF for my uob one card in this month. I already call in to waive but they say it is compulsory on 2nd year onwards. I told them to proceed with card cancel and they say their retention team will call me within 1-3 days, will they prorate and do a refund on the AF should the card is really CANCELLED?

If the retention team didn't call you to waive it, you will need to pay the AF. No prorate. If they call you to waive, the charges will be removed.

I paid TNB Rm56 on uobpayonline via my uobvox card last month (first time) and I got only Rm0.28 for cash rebate, That's 0.5% cashback and not 5% cashback. Is uobvox some kind of a sick joke?
Also not all online purchases (flight tickets) are entitled for cash rebate? Only those published on the front page here?

The problem now is where is your May 5% cash back which was supposedly posted on 18th June? All of us got it.

The 0.28 CR on 25th June is actually 0.3% cash back. Now yours has a missing 5% cash back.

Please call and check with CS. Etiqa Takaful should not be entitled, reported earlier.

Unless they still had issues on 24th May, so far forummers posted 23rd May had issues and didn't get cash back.
But again, even U Mobile are no longer entitled, at least AliExpress should be still entitled.

I'm using the UOB Platinum One Card. My Statement Date = 15/06/2016.

Just for example, I have a few petrol transactions as below:
21/05/2016 - RM80
22/05/2016 - RM80
28/05/2016 - RM80
29/05/2016 - RM80
04/06/2016 - RM80
05/06/2016 - RM80
11/06/2016 - RM80
12/06/2016 - RM80
18/06/2016 - RM80
19/06/2016 - RM80
25/06/2016 - RM80
26/06/2016 - RM80

So my question is, the limit of RM500 cashback for petrol, is it started to count from my transaction on 16/05/2016 until 15/06/2016 or is it following the calendar month, 01/06/2016 until 30/06/2016?
