QUOTE(Hades76 @ May 10 2019, 09:17 AM) Bro, thats the super star destroyer. Good luck man. The prices for those are on the rise. Consider overseas purchase ? Definitely. Malaysians tend to ask for retarded pricing. Overseas much more cheaper, but mainly focusing on Australia since I can self collect there and save on shipping cost...

QUOTE(Superman07 @ May 10 2019, 10:05 AM) No point buying from scalpers as it will encourage unhealthy Lego collecting as an experience. I remembered when I first started collecting back in 2007, many fellow collectors are in fact very helpful where if a person needs some parts, someone else will offer for free. This is what collectors' community will do lah, not hike the price and sell. Those confirm not collectors and as collector I won't bother to even talk to them. So sorry if I sounded harsh but I really look down on scalpers. Ohh there are still those nice helpful collectors at LUG FB that offered free spare parts when I was missing a few for my UCS MF. I definitely won't pay those ridiculous pricing for the 10221, but I don't mind paying around 40% more than the original cost taking into account the currency devaluation, holding cost, etc.

QUOTE(Hades76 @ May 13 2019, 11:03 AM) Yeah....I just read the rumour also. UCS ISD. Last UCS ISD was 2002 ( 10030 ). Moat probably it will be updated. Oops mistaken for another. Damn the old model was huge, will have more trouble displaying the newer one compared to the MF if it comes out.

QUOTE(Hades76 @ May 13 2019, 11:31 AM) I find the MF more troublesome since its huge and heavy. Almost 4 feet if not mistaken ( the round part ). I am gonna skip this new UCS ISD since I already have the 10030. For those who dont have this, its a good time to save up and get it. Yep it is wider, but the ISD is higher and longer right? I expect more playable and internal detailed compartments if they do release a revision. Definitely gonna get 1.

$699 for 4,784 pieces vs UCS MF $799 for 7,541 pieces... That's nearly 50% price increase per brick.
Ridiculous pricing for a hollow UCS set.
