U must know that somebody is hosting a game by that time. U cant just enter an arena joing the LAN game....and like greyfox said, ur game's region must be the same with other player.

Yup..just plug it and enable Internet Connection Sharing.

U dont need this disc coz most of PS2 game now have build in network setup option. Its where u gonna setup ip address for ur PS2.

* A 'straight-through' Ethernet cable
* A 'cross-over' Ethernet cable
If u gonna connect ur PS2 directly to ur laptop, u must use crossover ethernet cable. Just google crossover cable and u will know.


Just connect like this....

PS2 ---> crossover ethernet ---> Laptop ---> wireless ---> modem

Enable Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) on ur laptop. Go to Network Connection menu, right click the Wireless Network Connection and choose Properties. From there just find ICS option and enable it.

U might have to set an IP to ur PS2 if it has an error in connecting (if u set it automatic). But try to let it use DHCP 1st (automatic IP).
