Hi,
Any such case that you had completed your master and pursued a PhD in a different field.
For instance, my master's was on food science (microbiology), I would like to shift to medical microbiology, do you think it would be hard to get a SV? Not locally but overseas perhaps? What are the chances?
I am trying to apply overseas but hardly any replies, so was wondering anyone with similar experience could actually share with me?
Thanks!

I have seen pure science graduates (undergrad) with a PhD in Management.
If they didn't reply you, try sending them an email again or call them up. I have spoken with some notable professors in the US before on the phone.

I have spoken with some notable professors in the US before on the phone. Sounds convincing. Hopefully I would be able to get a reply soon, either they gonna accept or not. Just a reply I hope. Speaking through the phone, arg that's my nemesis. Pretty hard for me to convey my message, unless I meet them personally get to see their expression whilst discussing.
