I have been playing D3 on and off since launch. Currently active in S16. If you are just starting out, I recommend getting D3 base with expansion Reaper of Souls. Necro DLC not required.

This game is highly addictive, I got addict back in 2015 & left it after 1.5 years of addiction which ruined so many things
