Called HL to ask about the 6 mth 4.25%. It is still running until end of June. So this one still running.

Then for seniors >50 years old, 6 mth 4.3% still running, no end date yet. But have to open a Harvest SA with 1k. Can withdraw the amt after opening so it is not tied to the FD.

Today only I notice there is the transaction history in my Saving on 21-Jun-2016 EFD INT ADJUSTMENT RM0.93

Anyone have this? I'm quite sure is about the eFD Campaign that I place in last 2 months. But why is 'Adjustment'?

I have same shit here, but in different amount. Apparently its Maybank calculated our interest wrongly, and deposit the correction into the account.

is the adjustment interest amount = 1 day interest?

If I transfer money from HLB A to MBB today and go to MBB to place a FD two days later, is that still considered new fund?

Few years ago when I placed HL Islamic FD, no need to open Islamic SA. Only setback is FD eff date 2 days later. But now I heard it is same date as placement date. Is that so now ?

For my previous MBB GIA-i which has 12 mth eff rate of 4.5%, today's interest crediting is about 3.85% only !

It was supposed to be 4.5% but as most of u know, I am getting 4% due to MBB's error. Now the 4% is not there !

That shows GIA-i profit not guaranteed and can be adjusted before maturity.

There goes the average of 4.5% yearly interest ! 

Can those with that promo please confirm their monthly interest ?

Actually affin can get 4.15% open BSA/ as another person suggested just apply for affin cc (affin cc is foc)

This is one of the banks that do not usually give monthly interest on FD. Affin depends on being at or near top of board rates to attract FD depositors. Will be happy if they change their policy with regards giving monthly interest for FD promos. Specifically, there is NO monthly interest payment for the 4.15% FD package 2 promo I placed with them.

Just apply for a  free BSA. After all they didn't mentioned that we cannot open a BSA for the promo right?
