Affin bank was empty compared to maybank, but maybank faster
too humble 

Went to affin bank setapak jln genting klang, staff told me I need electric / water bill to get promo 4.5% FD because my address in IC is not in KL but johor. erm...why so weird one need to check from which state...

Seems like Affin still the most favourable......

Did my placement at Affin Bank PJ New Town, State.

Min 10k MYR, 4.5% interest after 1 year, auto renewal on board rate, 3.7% the following year. No CASA needed. Promo till 31st August or when target is reached, sorry I forgot what is their target amount.

Affin bank taman midah still available 4.5% for 12 mths.. no CASA required

But almost full, so those interested better get it done fast.. i already confirmed with the banker, the target amount is a standalone amount for each banks, not a shared pool... each branch have their own target amt

The officer is aware of the promo, but for selected branches only.

MBB offers 6+6 at average of 4.25%

i think OPR will go up.

BNM will do a surprised move, especially when everyone is thinking it will go down.

Luckily I logged in my large sum FD with Affin 4.5% in recent weeks, last one just yesterday after returning from overseas holiday.

Wonder if affin will suddenly "stop promo" to save cost.

Excellent OPR reduce. Interest rates will drop. People with loan will rejoice. People who want to put FD will cry. More people will take loan as it's cheaper... Hope BNM keep reducing interest.

errr...i think for these promo, they hv such clause, and this is taken from MBB fd promo:

Affin Taman Tun also closed the 4.5% deal today. Just called. ;(

Time and tide waits for no one. 
Eh.. there was a post saying OPR will maintain yesterday. 

It said December. Its July now so.... 

I actually have been ignoring Affin until early June with the 4.5%. Till yesterday have placed sums that I have to ask myself to put a halt to them. So it seems I am lucky in that aspect. 

We all can pick a guess and be analyst as well !
