Does Bangkok Bank branch at Bandar Botanic, Klang offer the 4.30% promo? [attachmentid=7099496]

Maybe half year later can get back 4.5% hopefully.

I checked with MayBank on Thursday evening .... they says Friday having promo 3-months Step-Up @ 3.5% + 3.5% + 4.55% (effective 3.85% p.a.). However when I brought 2 Banker Cheque (yesterday matured from other bank) there, they says the promo EITHER being suspended OR quota reached :-(.

Asked me to hold on until early August.

yes new GIA placed yesterday gets 3.75%.

just lifted  one placed on 11.7.16, still paid full 4%.
checked my GIA placed yesterday, it is indeed 3.75% only
checked another placed on 3.7.16 still paid 4% till today.

so looks like placement before 16.7.16 will still get 4%.
new GIA from yesterday will get 3.75%.

Does it mean the  downward revision of GIA rates of 3.75% only affecting new placement? Existing placement still hold on to 4%?

now it makes me wonder: should i uplift my 4% parked money there?

Maybank is releasing a factsheet for GIA, which makes this fund which looks like a FD indeed looks like a fund.

kfh's 4.35% promo taken off website...sigh

Probably THE ONLY one cause even Bangkok Bank has already took off their FD promo from their website.

   

Really bad, KFH and Bangkok Bank offer are gone...

Luckily last Friday manage to put some fund for KFH...

Whichever bank you go to, if they really require you to put in fresh funds, just withdraw transfer your money out and transfer it back in. Trust me, the banks cant do shit about it.

Just tell the teller to withdraw cash, then ask the teller whether cash counted as fresh fund, if okay, then just deposit it back into FD. The teller won't be able to argue anything then.

went to take out my KFH upfront interest today. was told yesterday last day for that promo. then asked them if i can get the money out by banker's cheque on maturity - they said no more BC according to BNM directive. Betul kah? haha if <10k can do online transfer at 2.12 per transfer. if >10K, rentas transfer at 5.30

does that sound right?

bnm does want us to reduce cheque usage and go electronic.
