Hi all, I would like to know, if I wanna plan for my garden ROM at 19/3/2017, and my Chinese banquet reception on 19/3/2018... izzit ok?

The ROM are only inviting about 50 pax, instead of doing the signing of legal marriage in a temple or at an government office I would like to do it in a garden with some beautiful decor... so mainly the walk along the aisle, the signing, some speech and a buffet canape or lunch... these ppl are some family members and close friends...

Then to make everyone happy, we're also doing the Chinese culture tea ceremony, pay respect to the amcestors, and bqt dinner... this is on 2018... so just the typical Chinese tradition...

Izzit possible?

Why not. Is a very common arrangement. Just maybe try not to leave the gap to long. Like for us is just 2 months gap from our ROM to our official wedding day. You would want to have your official wedding day when there are still sparks in your relationship. Especially on the guy's side because they intend to get bored very quickly.

Cheers and happy wedding planning......... icon_rolleyes.gif

Normally when they refer to a Wedding Reception, it usually means the party or lunch or dinner session after the wedding ceremony.
