Hi. Does anyone know what is the speed limit for the data roaming?
I plan to subscribe the p70 and roam it daily in singapore ( as I work here)

RM 70 for 15gb is cheap!

Speed limit is as fast as the network capable of doing so

It's 3G only, I think. Of course, SG 3G can be faster than our 4G so you probably didn't notice. Try speedtest and compare with your SG friend 4G speedtest.

It roam under star hub and get LTE coverage.

No. That is not true. Maxis has been issuing TriSIM for quite some time. Even all Hotlink SIM comes in TriSIM (all 3 sizes). So no. If you go to Maxis they don't bother to ask if you need a mini/micro SIM or Nano SIM.
*
Agreed with you. All telco in SG giving trisim as well.

Btw, does anyone know whether the data backpack will be extended after 31 December?

just switched my umobile prepaid to the P70 and enable data roaming so that i could use it in SG

so far the speed is okay , hitting approximately 20mbps roam under Starhub 4G.

, not sure whether the Video Onz can be used by data roaming as well or not.

4G in SG at 20Mbps is consider slow lo, MY also can exceed 20Mbps...
i think they ask their roaming partner to limit the speed...
*
Wait i will report back when i tried the service in CBD area ( main city area).

the 20mbps was tested while i was at custom check point (which is west side).

Best of all its free for P70 and above users.  rclxms.gif

One question, when you were roaming with umobile, could you tether your data and share with others? I've asked this question before and nobody seems to know.
*
Now is pray hard that, they will extend the data backpack thingy.

My speedtest roam under starhub. Hitting above 30mbps

Nice. thumbup.gif

Well, its these kind of services provided which makes customers flock to UMobile. They should know better. If Umobile is without such features, there would not be any reasons to be staying with them.
*
but the Video-Onz data look like cannot be used under data roaming.
