Totally 70 sen, 50 sen deduct from sender account and 20 sen deducted from received amount.

umobile don't have 2g network

not quite that simple.. will get 5 days from RM5 top up or keep 10 days from RM10 top up, whichever expires later.

The downside of this scheme is you will not be able to use the UMI mins.

Free 1gb data will deduct before UMI quota while your line is in active state.

it depend if your line active

active - free 1gb first > umi quota > free 2gb

inactive - umi quota only

how is she monitoring the usage?

ussd menu or umobile app?

in the umobile app it is confusing, the 1gb quota is hidden by default whereas the 2gb quota shows

what I mean is the usage progress bar is minimized (at least in the Android version of the app)

anyway if the problem persists, you will need to change your wife..

agreed in the case of before buying

yet in a case where a user continuously subscribes to umi with monthly auto-renewal, what can happen is

suddenly in the middle of the umi usage, your monthly free 1gb gets refreshed

then you cannot use your main umi quota till the free quota is exhausted

and in that case, you may never finished up your paid quota and it get burnt

anyway doubtless many of the users here have all adapted and constantly sub and unsub, cancel auto renewal, go inactive, top up judiciously etc to maximize the value

answer 2 not sure... keep in mind you can only stay inactive max of 60 days before line termination

and if you inactive more than 30 days you'll loose one month of free 1gb

umi is an add-on subscription and not a plan in itself

if you buy umi, your credit will be deducted

and umi28 is phased out already

Yes, it's normal. You will know the credit is there when you make call and no deduction from your credit. So far, U Mobile have not add this item to their visible menus.

Only now I learned U Mobile prepaid has Quarterly Reload Bonus

need minimum RM90 top up within one calendar quarter, example Oct-Dec

top up RM90-149 get RM5
