We'll that's for your area, I do see the potential of yes 4g lte as the speed is quite fast but it's spotty coverage makes it more like a secondary phone number but for pj, places like 1 utama, Ipc,ikea, yes 4g lte isn't good sometimes it shows emergency call only( 1 utama shows emergency call only most of the time)

maybe u seldom travel, try travel more and u know how important 4g availability is. i travel kl and karak nearly every day previously i rely solely to yes 4g broadband better than maxis and umobile.

correction i am holding a yes 4g lte and yes broadband its not that bad. Most city area have coverage but just some blind spots no signal.

i am currently using yes as my main line and secondary maxis. in city its good but out of city yes has too many blind spots

No network upgrade for umoile. New spectrum bring in new coverage and new user. Get ready for extra network congestion .

Kl yes coverage is actually good( for yes 4g lte/broadband) but pj I would say that the coverage isn't bad. I can't say 100% about umobile as my iPhone 5 doesn't surport lte(in Pj) at the moment but 3g its ok at first when I port in from celcom but I've adapted to umobile 3g internet speed already

They already obtained license for Band 3 and rolling out must complete before 1 July 2017 as per MCMC instruction. So there's chances you will be getting it earlier.

That's a nice thing to hear about, thanks for the information/news, looking forward for umobile lte for my iPhone 5

just port out from celcom to Umobile P98 for a week now , so far very impress with the service. Eventho my area only 3G but i can stream netflix , youtube without any lag. There is a time when connection drop a bit to E but not to common..

My issue now how to spend my 30gb data since most of video streams are unlimited biggrin.gif .

Sorry out of topic , is it possible to change dns for mobile data for iphone?

Thinking of switching to U28 but i have a few questions:
1) how is the coverage in Ipoh and maybe KL area?
2) is the music-onz and video-onz free for life or just an ongoing promotion

He means that there's no public news on network upgrade expansion. There are only spectrum allocations by Big 4 Telco. Some telcos have lost some spectrum while U Mobile just gain.

Through my experience, coverage in cities are good but when you get to the outskirts, it's almost impossible to get line.

U Mobile P98 vs Digi Postpaid 110
I think that U Mobile is better. Don't forget U Mobile has unlimited VideoOnz, which means you can also surf Youtube for free biggrin.gif . What you guys think?

U Mobile P98
-30GB data
-Unlimited VideoOnz
-Unlimited MusicOnz
-Unlimited Call
-SMS: To U Mobile: 3 Sen/SMS | To Others: 8 Sen/SMS

Digi Postpaid 110
-25GB data
-100GB LTE weekend data
-Unlimited Call
-Free 1,000 SMS | 10 Sen/SMS
-Data rollover 3GB

I got this issue too. It's hard to spend those 30gb since the video onz streams are unlimited. rclxub.gif

Well, my data mostly used for streaming video in cinema box. Unfortunately, this also use the video onz unlimited data. brows.gif

Yeah, it's also a popular live streaming platform. Should be added as well like Facebook Live Video

Digi doesn't throttle speed while using Digi Video Freedom while U Mobile throttle Video-Onz so it's technically possible if any telco really want to do it.
