Ya agree, 45Mbps is very very great already, if not because of the terrible speed my friend get, I didn't test my Maxis also and extremely "high" when I seen the speed is 100Mbps.  rclxms.gif

Honesty,  I also found it strange that the speed test for my UM actually increased substantially.  At my office,  the speed was always around 15 to 20 most but this week,  the speed exceed 30 mps.

But honestly,  I did not feel that the browsing speed increasing substantially.

But I agree that UM coverage outside of major city centre is not good.  Had no 4G coverage on the PLUS Highway and in Melaka.

The first image is FROM UM,  exceeded 40 mps,  second image from. Maxis,  at same location and time.

Well I suspect your area has been upgraded or something..
Added more tower or so..
That's why your speed higher than previously..

May I ask, isn't it danger to have recycle number? Look at my example for explanations:

I bought a sim card with a number 012 345 6789. Then, I use the number to receive TnC code from online accounts like banking, social networks, email etc. Then, I forgot to topup because of some reasons(oversea etc). The number would be recycled, rite? If I didn't update my details maybe because I forgot or something, the new owner with the number 012 345 6789 can access my accounts, rite?

We would receive spam messages and gets charged just because it's a recycled number

Yes. I got hear such case before..

Guys, is it possible to buy a specific phone number back after it became inactive and then subsequently expired?
*
Depends on situation .
How long has the number expired.. If within 3 months period, got some chance to get.. More than that. Good luck..

hmm, it happened before for my customers and friends ( back from oversea, number no more active/passive, went 1u / time square within 3 months telling reason bla bla bla , mostly oversea la, then they need u to sign a U28 to get back the number, but then u could change to prepaid after that ) and latest reply from another customer being told the same thing from Center Time Square
( the number would be recycled and assigned into common pool next week, please proceed to U Mobile store to sign it back, but so far the number not yet appear in our common pool )
for the maxis part, my fren (really too lazy) get back the number twice after Dead , but within 10 days la, 1st time able to get back in prepaid hotlink @ KLCC
2nd time must sign a postpaid plan for 3 months @ KL sentral.

Umobile should strengthen their network rather than offer too much data to users, even inside Sunway Velocity mall don't have network at the Ground Floor 😤
*
Bro, all telco coverage sucks at velocity mall..
So don't simply bash umobile..

Sunway Velocity Mall's statement:

It's kinda late..
Should have done with the telco indoor coverage first before mall open to public..
After people complained, now only want to take action..
Typically Malaysia style..
