Nothing much to add except for complains. Been using it before the maxis hoo ha and i like that its cheap, coz i'm at u28 plan.

But the coverage is crap, super duper crap. There is a reason why maxis charges high, its because they can. I've switched to every single telco possible depending on my demand of usage and budget from time to time. Nothing beats maxis, celcom comes 2nd, digi 3rd, and umobile is 4th. This just in klang valley.

Can never ever get away with the "u get what u pay for" thing. It sucks - Reality.

u mobile mana banyak duit lorh... that's why they DR with maxis.

if not, already uses own infrastructure.

i think its time and legal problem , umobile have a big boss behind to support them

Hey guys, I am on u28 plan but I am really dissatisfied by their reception (for normal phone calls). I am staying in shah Alam area, working around pesiaran perusahaan. I am thinking of switching to either digi or maxis, but (1) I don't know if digi's reception is any better around that area and (2) maxis' data plan for GO 48 is too small to justify the price.

I am considering digi's 48 3GB plan. Any thoughts?

I'd suggest you to buy a prepaid card to test it out 1st before you port over

I am lucky enuff that the places I often go to have good UMobile coverage. Sure, in one day I will always encounter spots with poor coverage, but with how much they are charging, I can still live with that.

How can you even put Celcom and Digi ahead of Umobile for Klang Valley?
Digi is 4th for sure.

In Klang Valley Umobile is better than Celcom for sure. No doubt Maxis is the best.

I went from Maxis > Umobile > Celcom > Umobile because Celcom coverage in KV is utter crap based on my Shah Alam, Subang, PJ usage.
At some places even Celcom have no coverage at all. (Not even E) Total blank.

At least with Umobile I can stream youtube at morning for free with no lags. Those who says Celcom is better than Umobile in PJ must be joking. At my house I can get LTE with Umobile and just 3G with Celcom.

Of course it's degrading since spectrum reallocation had already started a month ago. U Mobile and Digi are getting bigger share of 900MHz and 1800MHz while Celcom and Maxis are getting smaller share of these two spectrum. Spectrum reallocation are expected to complete in July 2017

I too have been using U for about 1 year and totally satisfied with what I pay for it. Most area in KV, U coverage and bandwidth is more stable. Even H+ is good enough to stream youtube. Celcom data is very unstable. Sometimes fast sometimes slow.

before im satisfied with umobile but now not, umobile is congested, i cant even use lte to open a single webpage... _ wangsa maju area

+1 ^ , same here at KV mostly, used U-Mobile for 1 year and i'm satisfied too because compared to DIGI last time grrrr.....
