I am an ex u mobile customer 2 months ago, so far the u mobile was okay. Location is in pj and bangsar south area. When go back to muar, the speed is decent too.
Itchy hand wanna change to maxis and now I am hooked with their speed and 4g coverage.
I am considering going back to u mobile again but really worried about their coverage recently.
Yesterday I went to atria and simply go to the u mobile shop there. I ask the staff, is it true that the network is bad recently. The guy honestly tell me yes after they introduced the p98. Lots of customer from other telco ported to u mobile and causing the congestion.
Dilemma now whether should I go back to u mobile or just stick with maxis again

let say i manually connect to LTE Umobile. then it only retain for 3-5min. Does it mean I already enable LTE services on my sim or how? but the LTE bar is only like 2-3 bar. initially i assume the LTE network is not strong enough. can someone help?

whenever u able to See the LTE network during searching manually means u already activated the LTE services

haha probably we can list out here what CS can actually help and what they would advise u proceed to center / dealer =.=

what i know CS can do
by calling 1318
1. unbar line after payment
2. active LTE services
3. Upgrade ( only available for postpaid to postpaid) but also occasionally fail to proceed
4. active IDD for postpaid
5. suspend line when ur number is stolen/lost or even going oversea
6. check if ic number registered correctly or wrong 1/2 digits ( they won't let u know if ic is wrong at all)
7. check contract period / early termination penalty
8. cancel itemized bill and active ebilling ( high chance they fail to follow up)
9. active roaming for postpaid ( more than 6months usage )

what they always fail to do / ask u to call back again later
1. check terminated line outstanding and account number (better email them, normally 2 working days to get replied)
2. check if Roaming deposit when gonna refunded
3. stocks availability for devices

what they can't do
1. downgrade / prepaid to postpaid
2. unbar line if not owner calling
3. complain of poor signal / downtime

what I am not sure
1. changing credit limit
2. termination
3. cancel subscription from those "virus" RM 3/RM4/ RM5 contents
4. active roaming for postpaid (auto-debit)

hi guys, got few questions regarding umobile,
experienced user, kindly please help.
thanks~

1. anyone changed to umobile from celcom? the p70 offer is so tempting...
2. is there any contract if I sign to umobile p70?
*
i believe every single t&c is stated on the website.
so afaik only thing with contract are the phone packages.
