My heart shattered as my S7 edge front screen spider web crack when it fell waist high and hit road pebble. Repair cost is extravagant.
My S7E already on Spigen Slim Armour. It survived flat surface before but not this time on road with protruding small road pebble. |

QUOTE(lullerskatez @ Jul 5 2016, 03:01 PM) Try Samsung SC at the Gardens. Fixed mine at about RM1130. Do they guarantee waterproofness afterward? Might consider it if they did. Gone days where I prefer to DIY.To DIY it's not so easy because you need to reapply the waterproof sealant and cannot guarantee will be 100% water resistant afterwards. QUOTE(cdspins @ Jul 5 2016, 03:40 PM) Afraid layer when S8 in the market, tempted to change also |

QUOTE(cdspins @ Jul 5 2016, 05:08 PM) Hahaha...Just saying. Normally I change after 2 years time or broken. But S7 serve me well without much issue, probably last longer unless the technology change dramatically.. Who knows?😁 QUOTE(meximum @ Jul 5 2016, 07:17 PM) Ouch. I'm sorry for your loss. It fell face down. Previous fell it survive either back or side but not this one.Does the phone fell vertically or the screen face down? Looks like vertically as the source is from the lower left corner. Please share. |

QUOTE(yang90 @ Jul 7 2016, 10:13 AM) You are using Spigen Neo Hybrid right? The casing's bumper found crack at the bottom side. The casing did fine. If you follow my story in previous post, the phone drop face down on tarmac with small pebble make it point blank contact. That cause the crack. Only a case with side as thick as phone book can save it. Best is not to drop it in any circumstances. The casing can't withstand the impact oh? |
