Yes , it will tripped knox and void warranty but there might be other causes which i'm not aware of , i only encounter this when i rooted my S6E+ last time and didnt turn on oem unlocked . Samsung never did have such thing on earlier models . Phone will reboot just fine after flashing and rooting but the minute i turn off my phone , i cant turn it on again and this warning pop up . Only way is to replace either recovery or kernel with stock .
Try this . Put your phone into dl mode ... Volume down + home + power and see if the knox is tripped . If it's , contact seller . If it's not , contact seller also b4 going to Samsung .
Btw, to exit download mode, hold power and volume down
Decided didn't want to risk flashing myself. The seller eventually called me last night. They also say not sure what's going on. So ended up this morning took a 1hr40mins drive to Ipoh. First customer at the Samsung Service Centre at 10.30am. The CSR saw the phone and immediately say need reinstall software. She and the technician look at me one kind, maybe thinking I go and mess up the phone. Anyway, one hour I came back phone working again. Nobody can explain to me what happen. Keep saying software conflict. Also, when I ask about turn on the OEM unlock, the technician keep saying better not, you will lose security. I turn it on anyway, worry get this binary block FRP lock again.
Now reinstalling phone after factory reset....hai. What bad luck.
Only positive part, since in service centre, extended warranty for another year, RM88.20 (after 18% Raya discount).
