QUOTE(bluemaster @ Jun 2 2016, 09:43 PM) anyone have any idea how to register warranty if buy from lazada/gem5/11street? thanks.. new s7e user here.. I bought mine on GEMFIVE, the warranty is registered by the merchant themselves. The merchant I bought from was Thundermatch so they registered the warranty once you order it online.QUOTE(Caramelcloud9 @ Jun 3 2016, 12:05 AM) I was thinking to get the s7. The flat one. Not edge. Is it worth it? It's worth it for me because I got it for a bargain, but I got it because I preferred a smaller screen as my hands aren't that big but if you prefer a larger screen, higher battery capacity and curved screen, get the Edge.I use my phone to takes pictures, video, play game, watching video. (apart of browsing internet, call and msg). Currently i hv prob with my z3 camera. |

I have to wait probably a month for my UAG case to arrive from HK, in the meantime, I'm using a normal back cover.
Does tempered glass affect the sensitivity of S7? |

QUOTE(pohsze @ Jun 3 2016, 10:05 AM) But did you get any sms regarding your warranty? I also bought mine from Gem5 but didnt get any message I did, on my other phone. It was before I received my S7.Looks like you have to submit to Samsung via email to verify again, but I did receive my invoice from Thundermatch tho. |

Maybe this is a stupid question but for S7, which is recommended?
Micro SD card 64 GB with 45MB/s or 80MB/s? I heard there's a difference compared to the phone's max writing speed versus card writing speed. This post has been edited by Carlo J: Jun 3 2016, 01:07 PM |

QUOTE(jack2001 @ Jun 3 2016, 01:24 PM) Take the faster card, but if you only plan to store video, pictures or songs, the slower card is just fine Ok, thanks. Btw, I'm experiencing slight overheating when using fast charging. Should I turn it off because I tend to charge my phone when I go to bed at night. |

QUOTE(NightFelix @ Jun 3 2016, 03:03 PM) This is your S7/S7edge "MAX" read/write speed for the MicroSD Card. Thanks, it's close to 80MB/s, guess I'll get that variant then.http://imgur.com/a/4BlJz Read more: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.p...08&postcount=53 QUOTE(Username8118 @ Jun 3 2016, 03:13 PM) The manual says it's normal for the phone to heat up during charging and there's supposedly a built-in cutoff if it overheats. However if you're going to charge it overnight then no need for fast charging then Yeah, I read more on it and people said to turn it on if you need the phone quickly, turn it off for overnight charging. |

QUOTE(squall_kay @ Jun 4 2016, 06:33 PM) too bad, UAG case didnt suit my eyes at all. I see, alright.currently im using obliq slim meta (silver and grey) which suits my eyes. the only reason i'm referring to rugged armor (aside from have it also) because these 2 case have similar fitting. I like UAG's design and colour hehe. |

Anyone using SP on their S7 experiencing non-sensitive responses? Ever since using Nilkin's SP that came with their case, my screen isn't that sensitive, thinking of switching to TG.

UAG case is pretty protective too.
I dropped my phone once, face down but it bounced off the bumpers and landed harmlessly. |

Do any of you use TG or SP here? Does it affect the sensitivity of the screen and will it override the waterproof protection?
Enlighten me please. |

QUOTE(jack2001 @ Jun 11 2016, 09:27 PM) Using TG or SP will not affect ur water resistance. However, most if not all is known to affect ur screen sensitivity. The normal SP made from PET film usually doesn't. Oh, ok but I thought it affects the water resistance according to sniper on the roof I think this is the first phone that has a sensitivity issue with SP. |
