Somehow managed to scratch my clear coat SP after wiping it against my polyester gym pants to clean a smudge rolleyes.gif so much for scratchproof rolleyes.gif and clear coat SP the materials seems abit smudgy, clarity wise compared to SPIGEN but thats only noticeable when the screen is off.

The only thing that makes me want to use this, is the initial price i paid for it and the lifetime warranty rolleyes.gif so mafan to go back to Mobile Outfitters to swap the SP

Least u can get it replaced. Any idea if they do matte for just the screen? And whats the price for that? I like matte solely for the anti fingerprint
*
Yes only the front is 130 with 10% discount.

s7 edge selling in malaysia usually made in UK? or maybe i get a fake unit? Because the sound is so loud when i press and everyone looking at me... feel so embarassing
*
only way to find out is to go to a Service Center and get it verified. if the sound is loud just reduce the volume?

I got mine from Gemfive as well...everything seems to be working okay.. or maybe im just not as attentive to these details..

one thing i miss on this phone is the Double Tap Screen to wake up..
really loved that feature on my previous Sony phones.
I know that there are apps for it.. but would rather have it enabled in the interface than having the need to install a specific app for it.

so ive been using this phone for a couple of weeks..

there are somethings that im still getting used to coming from the Z3. especially the multitasking button. usually its on the left side but Samsung flips it to the other side for some reason.

i still need to get used to the Touchwiz interface which i think i will eventually.. was on IOS then Z1 > Z3 and this S7E
Really liked the lightly skinned Sony UI.

I havent noticed any lags on this yet. so far so good.

and oh my VRS case works perfectly with Clear Case

You can use all in one gesture app to flip the buttons whichever way you like. Just turn off softkey button light and it would be perfect.  thumbup.gif

ah! thanks for the suggestion! will try that out nod.gif

Like mentioned, the S7E is not supposed to lag.  laugh.gif

Even reviews are mentioning it as one of the best andoid phones on the market.
*
Yeah i actually migrated from Z3 using the Smart Switch.. was a pretty fast and painless process..

I guess it comes down to expectation really.. Im okay with some lag, its something that ive come to expect and accepted with Android due to its eventual file defragmentation.

IOS is a great OS if only their devices that they run had much more features and the priced reasonably.

You might encounter some issues when it comes to touching the screen if you have a TGSP as it only has adhesive's on the sides rather than the entire thing.

so there might be a very slight gap between the SP and the screen.

Then just have to use it nakedly smile.gif
Where to find screen protector for the back?
*
just use a normal SP. Im using Clear Coat. Can be applied at Mobile Outfitters at Pyramid or Pavillion.
and it works with a case.. win win

2 days in so far no peeling sweat.gif will monitor this for another couple of days

Worse case just go and replace it with new SP since still under warranty shakehead.gif

Just compared the specs between the Note 7 and S7E not much of a difference.. bigger screen and has a S-Pen plus the Iris scanner, wouldnt even say its S7E on steroids laugh.gif caters to some market i suppose

I would personally prefer the S7E for the size and how it feels to hold in the hands, find the Note series a bit too big for my liking and i prefer a phone over a phablet anyday smile.gif

Sure it'd sell as well as the S7E of course, since older Note users will look to upgrade.

Pretty happy and content with my current phone!

agreed on the size, but from hands-on review, looks like Note7 pretty compact, just marginally bigger than S7E despite screen almost 0.2" bigger.
how i wish Samseng can provide dual speaker like in Huawei P9 Plus.  whistling.gif
*
Compact? then again im only basing this on the Note 5 that my colleague is having laugh.gif always thought Note series were bigger...

QUOTE(TOMEI-R @ Aug 3 2016, 11:34 AM)

I would say for that specs, if it comes with dual sim and the sd card can be used all together, then it would be a seller.  nod.gif

*
definitely..i'd think its something that they do on future releases.

But still..... wont guarantee it won't break as easy as S7 Edge which come only Gorilla Glass 4.
*
Gorilla glass 4 or 5.. if you drop it and it hits on the floor on certain angles its gonna crack anyways.. not only Samsung but infact all phones.

Gotta be careful with your devices for sure.
