Today on the 30/5/2016 I went to Max Corporation Sdn Bhd, Puchong to get myself a wheel cover cap for my Proton BLM.

I contacted the seller Max Low (+60 16-323 3863) through Whatsapp and everything was fine till I went to the shop to purchase the product. I have very little knowledge about cars so I decided to put my trust on Max. It was the biggest mistake of my life as though you thought you can trust some random stranger. When i brought my car to install the product Max told me that he have no workers today or which are busy and I have to go other place to install. I was skeptical at first as why do I need to install it at other place which he promise to settle it for me. I agree to go to his friend shop to do the distillation.

Before that he ask my car rim is how many inch. I have no clue and I told him to help me check. He measured and he told me its 14 inch and little do I remember at the moment the rim size can be check at the tyres number there. I told him that the car tyres said is R13 but he keep insisting and telling me that its 14 inch and trust him. Since I have very little knowledge about car, hey why not trust the guy who is selling these accessories.

I then move forward to his friend shop (Frankie), Super Blue Sky Accesories which is also located nearby but I needed to cross the sky-over bridge at Puchong, Batu 14. When I arrived and one of Frankie staff attend to me and assist me to install the wheel cover cap. While he is trying to install he told me that the cover size is wrong and he is unable to install it. The worker then told me that the wheel cover is too big and it should be 13 inch. When I saw the wheel cover cap, I noticed is even the wrong design as showed from Max. I immediately Whatsapp Max and he told me he did not make any error and when I send him the pictures he just tell me " Oh, tat means left tid design, just check stock'. And when I ask him so how he did not reply back.

I got so frustrated and dissapointed as Max wasted so much of my time and petrol from going from one place to another and now the wrong size and design . I was also in a rush of time to fetch my sister from work and I had to call Uber to fetch her . Continuing, not only Max did not take any responsibility and saying sorry for his mistakes, he did not even want to admit them. I then immediately when back to ask for a refund as I can't stand dealing with dishonest seller. I swear I kept my cool and did not raise my voice or be rude at all towards Max. But then Max immediately snap like some psychopath and keep saying that I am being rude. All i did was I came in and I said "Hey Max, I want to get a refund because the item you gave me was wrong". I have no idea what was his problem but he have some anger management issues. Not only that, he keep cursing bad words (Chinese bad words and f*ck) towards me and ask me to get out from his shop. I was so angry and I ask him what is your problem and how could you treat your customer like this. He then said who am I, which I replied a customer and he then answer back I am just a supplier not your babysitter. He told me that if I want to exchange can but now cannot because I was being rude to him.

OMG I had never raise my voice, never even curse a single bad word or even use any violence gesture. Which part of me is being rude besides me politely asking a refund for your dishonesty? With such bad manners, attitude and work etiquette, I don't know how they manage their business. Worst part was his mother, knowing he was wrong and just keeping quiet there and even trying to help his son. I understand supporting family is one thing but none of them can be reasonable or question that their son, Max Low is wrong in doing business like this. How can a seller or supplier treat their customer in a manner when they are at fault? He keep insisting that because he stick a sign that is non refundable I was not able to refund it. Their receipt never say such a thing and how do you expect a customer to see the side of the wall where I am here to buy my product. They even compare their shop with 7-Eleven .

To make things worst, Max father came and intervene. Without knowing anything that happen the father scolded me and drag me out of the shop. He pull my hand from the chair and then Max assisted in pushing and punching me out of the door. Luckily for me I only have bruises on my right arm and elbow. If I was there any longer I could lose my life with this crazy family. He then throw the box of wheel cap cover towards me and ask me to go away. So not only I didn't get my refund, I didn't get my exchange wheel cap cover. After that I immediately call the police and the police help me to exchange the wheel cap cover with Max and his father. By the time the police came, Max and his father was acting all good and saying that nothing had happen is only because I was being rude to Max. At that moment I said back to him keep telling yourself that is what happen as I know who your whole family really are.

Without trying to argue anymore I just left even though injured but I still made a police report as a safe cover for myself in case something else happen to me .

So guys I am really not here to randomly bash a company or shop but what I can tell you from my experience this family business is crazy. These people are crazy and violent especially Max and his father. You can check the google reviews last 2 weeks from other people and you can know I am not the only one. Just wanted EVERYONE to know to avoid this shop at all cost despite how cheap they sell things because if anything were to happen to the product their aftersales wont help you at all but even endanger your own life .

Thanks for the heads up. You must be traumatised by the incident. This family looks like an ordinary happy family though.

Always wanted to buy from the shop.
Now bad rep, might reconsider now.

Ehh I went to this exact store... Like a typical accessory store, he advertises a for very cheap, then tells you that a is no longer available, how about I sell you b, which is much more exp (b was available on lazada for 1/2 the price) he didn't want to confirm he had the product before I headed over, whatsapped him, called him, he said just come.... i wanted to negotiate prices with him and but he arrogantly told me that he was the cheapest around and I should just not buy anyhing (well I obviously didn't get my stuff from him at that point, I bought it all online, with free shipping to boot)

Some of his adds are very misleading, don't state the 'amount you get' for the price stated on mudah.. (Though to be fair, one should have been able to guess given its price tag)

I didn't not know they were this thugish though and wish you a speedy recovery ts...

lazada at its best, sent me my items, slightly different from advertised. Sent in one email, within the hour they responded apologetically basically telling me, they will refund me later(not sure how yet though), keep the stuff we don't need it back....

pro: well customer service , i get free things due to the blunder (not like the items are totally unusable)
con: ohh god i got to reorder my items
conclusion: max can(should) learn from this

I have bad experience with this shop too. I bought wira drawer case


He said plug and play no modification needed. So i bought it. Go home try to install it doesnt fit. So i compare to item to the picture he advertise, the shape is slightly different. So i go back to the shop to change. He insist, and said this is for wira. So i ask him to install and he couldnt do it. Ask me to go back and modify myself by cutting some part of that case. Wth.

i was also wondering why max or ts didnt just do it himself... it takes like 30 secs to remove one (assuming the old ones were still on) and another 30 secs to put it on again

TS has posted a police report. Why do you doubt his story?

If the shop wants to use delivery note as cash invoice and omit its company name and stamp that is the practice of the shop for reasons best known to itself. It does not put any doubts on his story.

A. No this is not a invoice, this is actually the receipt they claim that they gave to me.

A. Yes exactly, I have mention this many times that the receipt they gave me is not official but they claim that it have the serial no which if it tele with their record and from their shop is official.

3. TS has never been active but suddenly posted a very long story
A. Yes I have never been an active poster but I do follow up reviews, guides and comments from other member in Lowyat Forum. The reason I posted this long story as I have never believe such experience could happen where the seller will attacked the customer because of this. I as a community would like to do my part and share this horrible experience as I would not want anyone else to experience what I did. The truth is this as if anyone would like to investigate they could freely do so by checking the shop at the sides and also the reciept that they gave me.

A. I believe it is related to Lowyat.net as here we share reviews and guide about recommend or not recommended shop. As for me I really have suffer injuries as of the dates are just yesterday. So yeah I am glad I did not suffer any major injury which would cost any disability or even my life. When being attacked by one person is not enough having 2 people attacking you at the same time is very traumatizing.

That is all I am here to share with all. I would like to clarify that I am not here to defame anyone. Feel free to check around and if there is any feedback from the police due to my injury i will update here.

Thanks a lot for caring . Yes I really never expected a small buying experience could turn up to become something so devastating. The mother was actually okay as she kept quiet most of the time and as for the smaller brother he was not there. Don't let the Max guy fool you, when he snaps he is a whole different person throwing stuff here and there.

I also regret my decision. I actually live at Bandar Utama area and purchasing his product at Puchong is actually really far. If i had know this would happen to me I would have research around my area more.

OMG I feel you . Same scenario where Max told me to trust him that the rims are 14 inch and to install some other place because his workers are busy. When want to exchange and even refund he just snaps and release all his anger towards me. Yes the old man (his father) also didn't make any sense as he just support his son without hearing anything from me and assist in pushing me out .

Yeah but they didn't refund to me they only exchange it for me. They say they can't and wont refund to me . At first they don't want to exchange or refund . When the police come to settle they say they are willing to exchange. Their suddenly put up their acting skills so I just take what I came for and left.

That is the same thought I had when I first came to the shop. Unfortunately I put my trust on the wrong person.

The truth is when I asked about this rim cap they actually lie to me where they told me I have to take out my nat and bolt of my tyre to put it in. I message the mother and the son regarding this. They initially charged me RM20 for the installation for the rim cap but manage to bargain till rm10. I never thought the rim cap is just cap on and install only but guess they lie about that too.

As you can see this is their bargaining startergy. They are both beside each other and they both playing the good cop bad cop. One higher the price another lower it. But come to think of it does it worth RM20 for installation for a rim cap? This is how much they are being dishonest to their customer.

Also if I know this is cap on I would not have buy from them as I thought its stick to the rim with the tyre nat and bolt. Sorry for the inexperience in cars

I had bought a few items at their Gombak branch. No issue.

There are always two sides of each story; the other side unknown.
It's hard to believe one doesn't know how and where to determine rim size for car, and then had to go to another shop to fix rim caps.

this is the type of con men that tarnishes chinese reputation in this country,
talk about bad apples..... no wonder some immigrant admit to me that they think chinese "kuat tipu".

there might be abit of misunderstandings in that conversation? I think they meant 'keluar' as in just remove the hubs (btw those are called hubs) but wierd that they didnt just help you on the spot....

while i dont think they are completely truthful (i mentioned my experience my 1st reply) and are alittle arrogant, i do think their prices are pretty decent, its really not cutthroat yet....

edit: how come you didnt know how to replace the hubs, not a complicated thing to do... mau replace tyre also kene know these things yo...

Hi, after messaging her that time I did call her to double confirm and she told me that the nat are required to be taken out to install the cover. She was also surprise where she didn't thought I was a Chinese. That is why at first i was thinking RM20 for installation its maybe okay because you need to drill out the nat and put the cover in. But little do i know when I was there its actually a cap on cover. I already message Max and manage to bargain to RM 10 but then again I had no idea is a cap on wheel cover if not I would have done it myself. Then again I apologize because I have very little knowledge about cars and I expected them to help me where they are actually selling them.

Even till to very end where he told me to install another place( his friend's place) I still thought that it requires the nat to be remove to be install.

i work in an automotive part shop before when i was in highschool. This is the boss tatic to get you to go to their shop and spend. eventhough they don't have stock, they will say got, "mari la, u mari, tengok, kalao ngam, u angkat"

Hi, good question. I know how to open the wheel cover but what I was told that the wheel cover they are selling me requires the nat to be removed to install. That is why I believe them which they initially charge me RM20 for the installation. What I didn't know that one of the workers in other workshop told me that there is no wheel cover that can be install that way but only clip on.

Only wish to highlight the above. Willing seller, willing buyer. You can agree to it, or you can install elsewhere. That is not being dishonest. If he told you RM20, then when you go there, he says it's RM30, then you have the right to say so.

Many are grateful that you share an awful experience so that others may be careful with their own transaction, be it at this shop or another. But don't make defamatory statement just because you're upset. Be factual, state what is, not what isn't.

Hi yes I agree that the installation price is that we both agree. But that is because one of them told me it requires the nat to be remove and install. Once again they were being dishonest when they told me that it requires the nat to be remove and also when they gave me the wrong size and design. As I reply in a post I have no complain of the installation price if it requires the nat to be remove as they claim but the truth is that it just required it to be cap on. What I state here and now are all the truth and factual as I already show most of the evidence.

if max corp sb is gst registered, i'd make more damage by reporting them to customs dept for not issuing a tax invoice. the fine is around 5k iinm.

you can make real impact / damage by lodging report to customs dept that they failed to issue TS a tax invoice for the rm40

first of all, tis guy come into my shop and wanna buy the wheel cover. i ask him wat size is it. he didnt know. so i went and measure with him. i measure it was 14". wheel cover has 12" / 13" / 14" / 15". so of cause i got the measurement is 14" so i give him 14". he check everything and leave. then he message me the size was different. its ok. bring it back to the shop and i will change for u. when he arrive at my shop. he just said he wan a refund coz i was wasting his time and his petrol. i said, i only can change for u if it is the wrong size. but he insisted he wants a refund. in my shop there are two signs stating that goods sold and not exchangeable nor refundable. i showed him that sign. i said i can change to u not a problem but no refund. he said i was not trustworthy and because i am wasting his time and petrol. human make mistakes / errors. if i measure wrong then i will change. not a big deal. i also dont wanna make u run up and down for nothing. he also did check the goods before taking the goods out of the shop. then he insisted of wanting a refund and i said no. and he was complaining a lot so i asked him to leave. there are other customers around i need to serve and other things i need to do. i asked him to leave but he didnt want to. he and i were quarreling so my dad came and pull him out of the shop. that is my office not his office. that is not a place for him to argue. i already told him that i will change one new set to him not a problem. i have plenty of stock. when my father pull him out of the shop. my customers and installers saw. no one was hurt at all. i just went out and ask him to leave. he made a police report. the police came and the police also ask him to change the goods.

and for the design. the factory mix the design i would not know because everything is kept in the box. he open the box and check himself and left. and afterwards he came back. but for 13" i have the exact design he wanted but he also didnt want and only insists on a refund.

he posted me on fb. i dont mind. but not letting me comment. why ? is there anything tat u are afraid of me telling everyone the truth ? i have the cctv to prove everything that i am saying.

and for all those saying about the invoice problem. i have a few companies.

i use sunrise max enterprise for retail. i am a supplier my turnoever is more than what u think so i will of cause have a gst company. i also can issue u all a gst receipt not a problem. but there will of cause be 6% chargers.

and for the installation part. i am a supplier i dont do any installations. i only sell. i dont commit myself to installation. my installers that day was all full. all were busy. many of my customers also just buy and go. anything wrong just comeback unless i told them no warranty then they would have to test on the spot. rm10 is for the installer which is my customer. if u fell rm10 is exp then dont give them install. i didnt force. i only sell. because i dont have any knowledge about tyre. how would i know how to see. he himself also cannot guarantee me the size so i have to measure. if wrong then change. otherwise what u all wan me to do ?

and for those saying wanna buy price a but got price b. i have many types of products.

for example for camera. i have normal camera / hd camera / night vision camera / night vision hd camera / night vision infrared camera / dummy night vision camera. all also the same design. my shop basis is first come first serve. of cause who come i will sell to who first. i cannot wait till u come. u only call. sometimes shop will take 10sets / 20 sets one go or more. so will i sell it ? of cause i will sell.

another example hid. i have more than 10 types of hid. 5 types looks the same. only inside different. how would u know how to differentiate ? only i know. coz i made all my markings.

if stock finish and u wanna buy. of cause u can. u just need to pay deposit. rm50 min. and when the stock reach i will contact u and sell to u. if u don wanna wait or pay deposit i cannot do anything. i have more than 2000 types of products in my shop. how can i remember or forecast wat goods finish and which goods not.

Maxcorp, are you dumb or what? You don't measure the wheel with a measurement tape!! From the tyre profile there are number indicating the rim size already.

You still don't know what's your fault? As a seller, you should have at least some knowledge on what you're selling. If you made a mistake because you don't know what you're selling, at least offer a courtesy refund to TS.

frankly i dont think he is a conman, a conman would not have been able to stay in business so long... he has quite the shop too, many products

maxcorp i do think you could have easily checked your inventory for the wrap and lights before i dropped by. at least this way one would not have to go all the way there just to find that the exact pattern one wants is no longer available. thats Im no business student/businessman but good customer service is one of the best customer retention strategies there is... (imo anyway )

anyway putting that aside, if anything you should really be defending yourself from the claims that you basically threw ts out of your shop.... the rest is business that's all fine and dandy but the throwing out of a customer on the other hand..... that takes it to a whole different level

i work with 1 of big service provider in malaysia, sometimes our customer shout2 and angry like mad and even bring parang, we never pull customer out, we do everything we can to make them calm..yes even if they are wrong, we refund back to them so we can cont our business and the move on...we provide service, they is our customer..

i ask him to leave my office because he dont wanna change the size. and he was only complaining about tis and tat and only want a refund. he ad check everything before he leave and my shop has signs saying that goods sold not exchangeable or refundable. and there was customers need to be serve. so of cause i ask him to leave if he dont wanna change.

i have two stores bro. its very hard for me to run two sides to trace down all my stocks.

Also like a previous user stated, you don't measure with measuring tape. The tyres will already show u how big the rims are, buyer already told you it's 13" but you insist it's 14".

Sure you can say it's human mistake, but you as a seller should know what the hell you're selling and how to sell it properly.

the problem is i dont do refunding money. if everyone wants a refund back. my stocks will be upside down. how am i going to manage my stock ? customer a buy 10 sets item a. customer b buy 10 sets items a. finish stock item a. customer c wants to buy item a finish. then customer a returns 10sets of the items. but before he return i ad reorder item a. so its sometimes a very difficult situation. that is why i put up two signs. goods sold not exchangeable or refundable. and i am very strict on tis. coz if one person sees i refund money then the others will follow. and i only refund money if the thing is spoil or not suitable.

first of all, i didnt now insist about any sizes. i ask him coz i also don wanna go out and measure. wasting my time. its so hot. but he only say maybe 13. he was not sure at all. so of cause i have to meaasure. coz i also dont wanna do double work. he saw me measure it together. u can ask him. he took me to his car and i measure it. and we saw the measurement together.

wei brother. he already say he don't know, confirm you say what also he believe la. you could've said it was 12" and he would believe you.
it's true, you gave him the chance to check the product, but he already dunno what the hell he's looking at, how is he supposed to know that it's off by an inch?

tat is why. when he wanna change. i also didnt doubt anything to change for him. he is the one who doesnt wanna change it.

i tot this one is illegal beside our consumer law?

can't really blame TS. he go there. get wrong size, get wrong design. if i were him even if u offered me back the design and size i wanted, i would have demanded for refund because u made me run around one big round because of your mistakes not mine.

i did not commit for the measurement size. he was the one. i ad ask him. but he was not sure. i just don wanna make a mistake so i take a measurement for sure. he was there with me. if i was to play him. i would not need to measure and just tell him another size. tell him tat size could be install. if tat shop cant install. i can give him many shops to install. make him go here and there. but i didnt. my installers at the shop were bz at the moment. and he also dont know the size. so wat u wan me to do ?

quite strange ah, if you have one company that handles the importing, another to distribute or sell,

or have one company sell one particular product and another selling another particular product, it would make sense

after a simple google search it seems like they're all over the place. LOW LED (I mean it says LED, I'm assuming they'd only sell LEDs) sells head units and car emblems.
but then DB SPEC Electronic also says they're the seller of those things ass well.
then now max coorporation also sells the same thing.

hmm, i wonder why you need so many companies to sell the same products. damage control maybe?

I have purchased some clothes from the shop. As I was rushing to catch a plane, I told the shop attendant that I don't have the time to try all the clothes. However, the shop attendant told me that the clothes can be changed.

After my trip, I tried the clothes but some of them could not fit. I went to the shop again for an exchange for other sizes but they don't have the size for the items specified. The shop attendant now told me that it is the company's policy that goods sold are not returnable, refundable or exchangeable.
There was no clear sign indicating that earlier on, however, there are indications of the receipt of that, which consumers can only see after the purchase. I feel that I have been cheated into purchasing the clothes as I could have just walked away from the purchase or come back another time. Now I have 7 items that could not be worn.

NCCC Advice :The above complainant bought the clothes in a rush, he/she should tried the clothes before purchased. According to the complainat that the shop attendent promised her/him can changed if the clothes not fit.

After the trip when the complainant wants to change the clothes the same shop attendent told that it is the company’s policy that the goods sold are not returnable, refundable or exchangeable which as stated in the receipt.

The statement by the attendent fall under Sec 18 Contract Act 1950 (Misrepresentation) which caused the complainant believe that the information to be true and bought the clothes. So the consumer has the right under the law to get back either a refund or replacement. Meanwhile it is also a advise for consumers not to misuse this right.

By court of law....Customer has the right to return the item with valid reasons, even though you had stated in your receipt

haha. of cause i have my own reason. dont need to let u know so much. i have more companies than wat u think or research.
