Too bad, I was interested in the zoom, but the lack of review to me means it's probably lacking in the camera dept, the main selling point.
So pre-ordered the S8+ instead. Which has many positive reviews.
I think it is because that most countries are still yet to receive the phone.
There are reviews out for Malaysian side though :

"The ASUS Zenfone 3 Zoom is a solid phone. It's buttery-smooth, the camera is pretty damn good, and the battery life is spectacular. Of course if you need more performance, you're going to have a look at the Snapdragon 8xx phones but this one performs admirably as it is with a Snapdragon 625."

"That being said, the ZenFone 3 Zoom ZE553KL does well enough for most other uses, including gaming, entertainment, browsing and so forth. In addition, it looks a lot sleeker, thinner and more premium than the hard leather encased ZenFone Zoom while also lasting a lot longer. The sleek black metal back of the ZE553KL really looks like it could be a winner for ASUS, especially if they bring in the other colours like pink and white and we already saw it being implemented in the ASUS ZenFone 3 Max. While it would be great if ASUS continue this for their next generation of ZenFones I really would like to see that shiny ZenFone concentric circle design to make a comeback as it would help make future ASUS ZenFones stand out from the other rounded metal bodied smartphones in the market, perhaps in the front panel like they did for the ZenFone 3 Deluxe.
In any case, do check out the ASUS ZenFone 3 Zoom ZE553KL if you’re looking for an affordable, long-lasting and capable cameraphone."

"The ASUS ZenFone 3 Zoom is a smartphone that deserves attention and success, the company has already proven the reusability of optical zoom in today's smartphones with the previous device, which has inspired the iPhone 7 Plus' camera setup, and it done an even greater job by combining the best features of the ZenFone 3 and Max into one single device, fixing things that are once broken and doing things that the iPhone 7 Plus' camera can't achieve. For the things that ASUS has offered in the ZenFone 3 Zoom, its RM2,099 price tag no longer feels expensive, because the phone has a battery size and camera that no other can compete within the same price range."
