Heat is subjective - what temperature are you seeing. Installing app while charging will definitely increase the temperature. Most modern smartphones can sustain up to 60+ degree C while our palms would find it too hot
And is a poor practice to charge and use phone at same time

Using this BIG phablet as an alternative to Note 7 or even MIMax ( from another users) ? I hope this phablet fits well into your pocket
I only use this phablet as a mini tablet for videos, browsing , youtube etc and not as a daily working gadget
I must say I am very impressed with it as an entertainment gadget

Nexus 6 was never well known for its camera
The Nexus 6p had greatly improve it
It was a long time ago I had used the Nexus6 and its camera had never even impressed me
I must say this ZF3U camera is better n is quite impressive

It will only show ram available to user
Even my 4gb ram in A9pro shows only 3.5gb

Do a check yourself at the shop first or watch several reviews of it on youtube
Camera shots quality - i still rate S7e, Note7, LG V10 as best I had used

Just throw away those stickers
if you wish peel them and paste it onto box

Zenfone 3 low end models are using SD 625 Octa-core 2.0 GHz Cortex-A53. My friend ( a fellow lowyat forumer here ) had bought the 5.5 inch 4GB ram/ 64GB model and is very happy with it
The ZF Max is using Mediatek MT6737M Quad-core 1.25 GHz Cortex-A53CPU

The ZF3 ultra is indeed a very very good phablet
I am indeed very impressed with it and would like to use as my daily phone over the MiMax if not for its size.
Those who look down at SD652 chipset should think twice. I would say overall is even better than the SD820 Axon 7 which I got yesterday
So impressed with the ZF3ultra I had preorder too the ZF3 Deluxe which should be in my hands next week.

The ZF3 deluxe is SD820
I had used SD652 on A9pro, MiMax, ZF3ultra and must say is excellent so far
Don't be biased just because it score lower benchmarks vs SD820

It is just my initial impressions. The Axon 7 software I would say isn't as smooth and at times I do faced some micro lag.Even my other MiMax and ex A9Pro I felt is smoother than it
Apps loading on Axon7 is slightly slower vs the ZF3Ultra and apps installation is most obvious slower too. If you don't compare most people would not notice it. Anyway I will be spending more time on the Axon7 to have a better impression
Gaming ( which I don't do) I believe the SD820 should be better vs SD652

The ZF3 Ultra is not for everybody. It is a niche gadget due to its 6.8 inch display. I bought it solely as an entertainment gadget and will not be using it as a daily phablet
Worth or not is individual preference
I don't really consider its purchased value if I like it. Those I don't like I will sell off within 2 weeks irrespective of the price I paid for it

Axon 7 software isn't as polished as ZF3ultra
You can view youtuber comments about Axon 7 , some even say is poor and a letdown. We hope subsequent firmware updates will help
The ZF3U is silky smooth and apps opening speeds is faster while the Axon 7 show micro lag ocassionally
But I don't think is a big critical issue . One won't be aware if there is no comparison. Even my other SD652 phones eg MiMax n A9pro feels smoother vs Axon7

The deluxe model is a 5.7 incher
Maybe is not completely metal build?

One forumer WA me he only paid RM 2399 for it from Seven Mobile his ZF3 Deluxe ( 6gb ram/64GB ) version
It is sad that till now many still think Asus is an inferior brand in smartphones
My perception of it has change drastically after experiencing the ZF3 Ultra - a simply magnificent piece of gadget. I still feel it is worth its asking price though many still think is pricy

I would say is better than both of them

No such issues at all on my unit

Use Nova launcher and you can set it to maximum 12x12 grid size on desktop
I am using 7x5 on my ZF3Ultra

Try changing font size to small in settings/display ?

Doesn't the center give you an estimated completion date? It looks like they are waiting for replacement display to be in.
