Besides the Kerja kursus issues, is it possible or not?
I think the mpm should arrange a teacher for us.

Some teachers, like this Chinese guy who looks like "The Penguin" from Batman Returns, in Sultan Abdul Samad ...
told us "Just copy the workbook answers from your elder brother / sister that has taken this course".

The reason was, all the equipment was damaged, and the only one that worked properly was the one involving the laser pointer where all the electronics were protected from tampering.

Bur of course, when a person does an experiment and it doesn't turn out right, despite all the instructions being followed and understood, student must be stupid, amirite?

Internet actually has plethora of info for you to figure out ways to overcome the lacking of working equipment. Laptops are pretty much an universal tool for anything and everything. This combines with all sorts of open source software in GitHub, possibilities are endless...
Want to do something else physical? Customise your own hardware and make interface connection in USB or sound port or wireless... Probably university level...
Want something in smaller form factor? Use phones or tablets...

In the end, if all fails or experiment become way too complex, slightly make modify the result and then comment a bit on the errors and countermeasures... True story laugh.gif

Surely MPM must have make the candidates furious and angry with them on how if these experiments can ever be conducted at school level, accurate and under true supervision that can produce fruitful results...

Anyway back to topic, if TS did search around this Education Essentials section, I am sure you have seen lots of polls and threads you can really relate to you...

It's possible.

1. You have to be more proactive in finding out that you're meeting the requirements for self studying for STPM.
2. Make sure your tuition teachers are experienced and not just reading from slides and giving you work sheets and an answer sheet to mark on your own. In other words, get a teacher who is teaching based on experience and not just teaching for the sake of teaching.
3. Once you've found your team of people who can guide you through these 4 subjects, approach them and tell them you're taking STPM on your own and that they are your only guides for these subjects. Work closely with them and soak up as much about each and every part of the subjects as you can from them.
4. Ask your tuition mates who are going to a public school to share their notes from their school and if you can revise with them via FB/whatsapp study group etc

All the best, TS!

Its possible however it really depends on your luck of finding a good teacher...
Some teachers just not good enough and you have to seek outside tuition teachers that also (took) part of marking papers...

Of course most of the time you need every ounce of practice exercises and past year questions that you can do and finish...

EDIT: Sorry I didn't read that you are not under government school path sad.gif so that one and the experiment thing may not really relevant to you
