Investment Banking includes Corporate Finance (including M&A, PE, VC, etc.), ECM, DCM, Fund Management and Research Analysts, but does not include Traders, Remisiers and Dealers

Commercial / Corporate includes financial projection, budgeting, costs controlling and ultimately taking the role of CFO

Advisory / Consulting includes independent financial advisory and consulting in specified line of service (performance analysis, etc.)

Consumer and Retail Banking includes all aspects of banking including Private Banking, Corporate Banking, Business Banking and Personal Banking

Let me know if there are others.

May I seek your opinion. A prof in finance and background 2 years of compliance. Should I apply for cf?

it really depends on ur financial knowledge so far but i don't see why not

cf work by itself does involves a lot compliance work with the listing requirements and other acts, codes etc. as well as performing due diligence

but u might wanna spend some time learning about pro forma for the accounting perspectives
