silly thing i noticed with Novie's post...

is your sister working directly on the case of GE? because if you dont know that for sure, there are hundreds of other reasons they're busy. as far as i know, SMM markets loads of games here, isnt it possible that they're doing other things?

and as strace pointed out, SMM's job isnt accessing the server itself. and as far as i know, all GMs are working DIRECTLY for IAH, not through SMM. if i'm mistaken, please correct me on this.

his explainations were dodgy at parts, and i got a bit pissed, especially the way he handled/commented on the player who said that he was already planning to leave.

dont know bout you, but there was some smart aleckyness to his posts. but hey, thats just me.

one thing i think most gamers feel is that we dont like being treated like dimwits. many of his answers were a little patronizing. but then again, i guess they really cant do much, and trying to placate us didnt help when perhaps the smartest thing to do would've been to apologize or just admit that they are having trouble if they are.

also, it looked like he was accidentally digging graves to jump into later, from some of his answers.

well, thats just me. if you feel otherwise, you're free to let me know, but dont expect me to change my views on these.

interesting to note: on K2's server, there are no more channels. its all channel 1 now, according to the news release. other than that, i couldnt pick up much info on the "no more AFK" rumor, could someone who knows let us know?

i did read the website, but seems like the rumor is unsubstantiated. apparently it was a hotly debated topic over there, as hot as our own b2p/f2p/p2p debate here.

all kinds of ideas from what you described, to a time limit disconnecter for AFK, that is you can only AFK for a set amount of time before getting DC-ed and a few others. but from what i can tell, none of them were implemented. thats what i'm hoping anyone can confirm/deny.

but the suck factor is the one channel part. perhaps there really arent enough players over there for them to keep all the channels up. either that, or there's going to be massive overcrowding.

the new f2p thing means that there are no more premium accounts. all those who had active subscriptions will be getting rebates and points for the cash shop monthly til their subscription runs out.

as big daddy soba said it, you got it in one. but for goodness sake, they should be banhammering those /b/'s since it "supposedly" violates the naming policy. of course, NIA's are more suited for swear words than acronyms.

i dont know for sure, but i'm getting the same vibe that i got back at the old RO thing they did at Sg. Wang, where the whole stupid thing was in cantonese. no offence to my cantonese friends here on the boards, but it was so silly then as the demograph of RO players i'm sure was a nice mix of all the races in our country, not to mention that there are chinese too that dont understand cantonese (two of the other friends i was with). lets hope SMM does not make thes same mistake as Gameflier did.
